Tutorial Boss?

So a few my guildies and old guild master was disccusing this and I'm very curious. What will happen if one actually wasted there hours trying to kill BD at the very start of the game? Is it possible at all to even drop its HP???

Got a caravan cord thingy- Spent about 2 or 3 hours killing that thing. (I thought I was the first. I am really full of myself. Used up most of my revitas and Vita Plus to not get killed by that thing. )

 

I was creating a new account and just did that for the fun of it (Thought for a moment after I finished that I was gonna get reincarnated! Sorry but I really am an idiot so I'm blabbering in happiness??)

Dunno why I didn't get the resistance ring. That looked way cooler.
Edit: I did get it. It was stuck away in a corner of inventory.
