Unauthorized action detected

Hello!

I'm a new user who just saw this game on steam and for the last hour no matter what I do, i get this error:

"Unauthorized action detected

Toram Online has been closed due to the following reasons
-memory didn't respond correctly
-detected apps that may affect gameplay"

- I have uninstalled/reinstalled the game - Including manually deleting steams local cache of it
- Verified Integrity of files
- Reacquired Data in-loading
- Closed all other apps running in the background
- Restarted the computer
- Ensured antivirus was not enabled
- Ensured it was not blocked by the firewall
- Installed on a fresh image of Windows 10 Pro With only 2 additional non-windows program installed (Chrome, Steam)

output_log.txt is there if you need it, but nothing useful really.

I assume you've been to the Steam discussions before.

Some people have found the way to bypass/fix the unauthorized error by:

• Using VPNs or deleting all VPN/tunneling apps (e.g. Hamachi or Zero Tier)
• Brute forcing the "Reacquire Data > No" button repeatedly (around 10 tries)
• Pressing ESC on the error message
• Turning off DS4/DS4Windows (if you have it)
• Restarting the PC
• Performing a clean reinstallation of Windows/factory reset

For context on that last bit, according to a certain thread, the game may be able to detect previously unknown and existing viruses (that even antiviruses can't detect), so it shows the unauthorized message.

 

That factory reset is bs. Why do i fcing reset my pc on a stupid game anyway. Well that's in my case.

 

I have now attempted everything you suggested and still having the issue, there was a brief moment when i could download the rest of the files and saw the "create character" and "transfer" options, but then got back into the loop of the error. Of note, that happened on a CLEAN install of windows with just Chrome, Steam, and the game installed. Windows Defender was Turned off; including the Real Time Protection.

This has already been addressed by turning off all anti-virus. (including defender as mentioned per that release)

It's weird that this game somehow acts like a cracked "need to pay to play" game since it needs to be excluded on anti virus programs to run it without problems.

Probably they detect something malicous but might be a false positive.
