[Under Construction]The Perfect Start Project(open for scrutiny:P)

So this project came about w/ the two general goals: Don't mess up stat points distribution, and consume the least reasonable amount of skill points I can possibly do WHILE LEVELING a swordsman character.

The Mission:
The purpose of this thread is to simply share how I am currently trying to level a character without the aid of Small Articles. Those things keep inflating in prices. There is no use for that quest when players start reaching Lv60. And worse still, You have to be a mage or an archer most of the time to get into a random party in the Temple. This thread will show others that there is an alternative.


I've experimented quite a variety of ways to do this, but in the end found one relatively quirky solution: Rely on sheer weapon attack damage and Sonic Blade.

Which has led me to creating this character:

The Process:
Early game Lv1-Lv15: (Note that, this character is NOT an initial character. Hence, it has the optimal amount of starting Skill Points and to use)

Lv1 (Total Skill Points total:24 )
Skills I have chosen during this stage are Hard Hit Lv5, Astute Lv1, Sonic Blade Lv10 Sword Mastery Lv5 Quick Slash Lv2 and Mana Recharge Lv1.

The reasoning behind this is skill build is based on what I planned on farming experience from: Colons from Rugio Ruins and Malboro Forest. I chose the Mobs at these location to farm experience for my LabRat is an easy decision: I have a Fire Elemental Sword, so let us burn some plants with it. XD Colons are very densely grouped in these area, and just by spamming Sonic Blade, you can make quick work of this stage. Under 1 hour, you are on to the next stage. You are now above Lv15, time to visit new place.

Lv15-Lv25

Here it gets a little tricky. There are two areas you need to visit during this stage. Underground Ruins and Athema Ruin Town. What you want to kill are Torpods @ Underground Ruinsto collect stacks of Cracked Stones, and Rio Frosche to collect Athema Stones.

This where I was at before the <10/21/15> update.
I have only one word that would sum up this stage: Moralo. Because on this stage, you'd be talking to this NPC alot. There is one particular quest that I have repeatedly been doing since the this NPC got introduced in Rugio Ruins as a quest generator; the "Reconstruction Materials" quest. I am more inclined to do this quest than "Small Articles at the Temple" simply because of the Sustainability. The quest gives you RevitaII and 3K exp as rewards for bringing 5 of each of these: cracked stones, athema stones, and crushed woodchips. That last particular material is what we are focusing on this stage.

The only mob that drops these are found in Ribisco Cave: Goblins(w/ slingshots). They are annoying and in most areas of Ribisco Cave, they are very widespead. There is only one spawn point where they are densely populated, and that's inconveniently at the deepest part of the cave. :V
Be careful though, in this area you literally MUST "Spamming Sonic Blade". With My equipment, I can do 5 consecutive usage of Sonic Blade. AND I NEEDED EVERY SINGLE ONE USE OF IT ELSE I RISK DYING. As I reach Lv33, I started to use less and less Sonic Blade, and then I stop entirely once I have roughly the same amount of crack stones, athema stones, and crushed woodchips. After handing in stacks of each material at a time, I'm able to reach Lv40 in 3 days. (I only did all these things on this stage when I needed to get the daily exp bonus emblems)

The plan now
I have reached Lv40, and we just got an update as of 10/21/15. Along with it came a 2H sword I am particularly excited about: Bone Blade. I just tested this earlier, and found that I can now do the "spam Sonic Blade till I run out of mana then charge again to full" strategy on Voda Roars w/o getting killed. I tried using volg sword... It just wasn't good enough damage. I had to run quite a bit.
