Unsheathe Flash DPS Dual Wield by Cella <Discontinued due to Unsheathe BUG>

For months since DW was born, this Class has been categorized as under rated. Some people like @Cypherian with his AMPR DW Build and @makOi with his Tempest DW try to do something with this class and they have their own success. Since Toram release the new level 3 DW Skill, In my perception DW has evolved, a new playstyle Unsheathe Style was just developed. So I'm trying to take the maximum advantage of Unsheathe Power to my Dual Wield.



First of all this build is only for expert where we need to be at least level 90 to learn DW level 3 skill and minimum of 2 million Spina for the equipments, and unlock most of the Skill Emblem for Skill points.

Base on my research I found out that Evasion is not something we should under look. And with some experiment I realize that BOTH Flash Blast and God speed actually increase charging slash slash damage. But when i'm experimenting this build I realize i have no MP Equipment and I have no slot for MP Xtal. So I chose to put some AMPR to it with eerie xtal.
Okay I'm serious with this build!

All Skills are all Important, somehow it's the mostsolid build I can design and Tested (Currently this character is my main character since im bored with sword-breaker)

VERSION 1 BUILD [Discontinued and I re-create the VERSION 2]

This is my version 1, the original version of unsheathe Build, It's perfect, fast but... SUPER FRAGILE! Yes it's fragile under -90% both defense from Reflex...... Overall it's pretty nice, have a good DPS, breaking, Aggro, Evasion, and high evasion attack

So first is Stats, We go MAX DEX and then STR
Why there's no AGI? with max dex we have max skill damage output, we already have a high ASPD with Godspeed etc (If not enough we have speed potions), Personally I chose to have low dodge so evasion can freely triggered. STR Increase Burst damage and hopefully in the future Unsheathe DW with max burst damage can compete other class... It's impossible with +2 atk per dex and +1 atk per str? I see it's possible with unsheathe bangle give +30 unsheathe damage (which is +30% on unsheathe damage) and hopefully we have unsheathe bangle II lol

Dex / 60-100 Agi
It's another choice if you want to go for more Utility, we have more atatck speed, motion speed, higher dodge where you can secure more your break rank, increase your aggro for tank rank in the same time. Personally I'm using this right now.

- 10 Astute (Combo Opener, Increase Crit on combo)
- 6 Trigger Slash (Combo Closer, and ampr buff)
- 1 Sonic Blade (Get Close to the Target)

Dual Sword Skill
- 10 DW Mastery (increase crit and accuracy)
- 5 Cross Parry
- 10 Charging Slash (Main DPS)
- 6 Shadow Step (+35%crit on next skill and safe combo)
- 10 Flexible (+40% Evasion)
- 10 Flash Blast (Increase power of all unsheathe)
- 10 Dual Sowrd Control (ASPD and Stability
- 10 God Speed (Increase damage, agi, etc)

Guard Skill :
- 10 Light Armor Mastery (+10% Evasion)

Survival Skill
- 5-10 HP Boost (+1000HP, 1000 hp is not enough)

Battle Skill :
- 5-5-10 Crit Up (Increase crit rate, and damage)

For Combo, HONESTLY I need moreeee combo points for DW, i'm good with 30 combo points! but since we only got 10..
Oh right! As i mentioned, we only have 300 MP! so all my combo should be 100 MP Combo
Main 1 MP DPS Combo
Astute -> Shadow Step (Safe) -> Charging Slash (Smith) -> Sonic Blade (Consec) Trigger Slash (Consec)
Note :
- Sonic Blade is just to engage the boss after run far with charging Slash but.... It can be a suicide against some bosses like Roga... You can put out Sonic Blade if its unsafe
-Feel free to cancel the trigger salsh if u don't need the ampr buff and the situation is not good
In testing against Roga with a party, This combo usually deal a total of 12000 damage

2SP combo : Flexible -> Flash Blast (consec)
1SP Combo : Hard Hit -> Flexible (consec) -> Flash Blast (consec)
It's a combo to active your flexible and flash blast in 1-2 MP

Super DPS 4MP Charging Combo :
- Astute -> Charging Slash (Smith) -> Trigger Slash (Consec)
The max damage I deal with this combo was 50k+
This is your strongest combo but u can't use it without 400MP and it'll take longer time for you to gain MP and re-use this combo

VERSION 2

I'm not satisfied with the aggro Version 1 gave plus the low defense of version 1 (Version 1 is super fragile and useless hwne facing magic mobs or boss)... I create version 2 which the combination of my Version 1 with @makOi 's DW build a DW i'm using now. VERSION 2 create more DPS, survive more with bigger aggro in the same time. But this build has 2 roots of build, Tank and DPS, where if you guys follow this build, you can chose whether you want to be a DPS or a semi DPS tanker

We're using 200 MP Combo, well we need to do prorate and we have high ampr, after play DW for a month i realize 100 MP Combo is not efficient with our great AMPR after all....

Flash Blast : Flash Blast is 100 seconds buff, you can use it at the cost of 200 mp for increase your attack it's worthed! well it's the secret of our unsheathe build! and even more awesome with unsheathe Bangle!!!
Reflex : with level 5 it'll still increase your evasion 40%, only se it if you're tanking plus fight a physical mobs... it's only a drawback when you're facing a magic mobs it's still useful but mind what are you facing and just if you're tanking!

DPS Combo : astute -> S.Step (Safe) -> Charging(Smith) -> Magic Impact (Cons) -> Tempest (Smith) -> Trigger Slash / Sonic Bade (Cons)
Semi DPS Tank Combo : astute -> S.Step (Safe) -> Charging(Smith/Swift) -> Magic Impact (Cons) -> Phantom Slash (Smith / Swift) -> Trigger Slash (Cons)

This combo will make you run 8m with charging slash and impact randomly to reduce next smith LONG DISTANCE skill. Run 4-9m from the target then you can do long distance safely > Remmeber Charging Slash damage output is still the same as Version 1! But we got longer combo from long distance attack now~

Why I didn't write all the skill now? coz i found some people actually claim some ideas as their own -.-" and by stating all the build in detail will just reduce player creativity... play with your own style ><)/

Regarding your armor you might want cdmge9 over cdmge4% if your main stat is dex.

 

U migjt be right... imm still using my sword-knuckle armor.. Haha

Plus i maxe a mistake on stats point.. I use 60 agi rest dec instead till I realize i should pit all on dex... Maube i'll reset stats later

 

1. I suggest you consider getting another means of DPS. Charging Slash isn't the only one considered as Unsheathe attack from skills and animation on the end takes too long and you need to walk back up to the enemy just to, either cast another combo or cast trigger slash.
2. DPS means Damage Per Second. Saying a Twin Slash combo of Astute > Twin Slash Smite > Shadow Step Cons makes a damage total of 15k in 5 seconds for the combo to complete. It means you deal 3k damage per second.
And saying the combo you do, Astute > Shadow Save > Charging Smite > Trigger Cons. Deals 15k in 10 seconds. you only deal 1.5k per seconds.

3. why not consider doing this combo instead, Astute > Trigger Save > Charging Slash Smite > Shadow Step Cons. Yes the crit buff on charging is diminished because you put Shadow Step after Charging Slash but, You get a sure crit on your next astute, increased AMPR same to Trigger, less walking. Charging Slash animation is sped up because of Trigger Buff, decreasing the charge and pose animation, then quickly transitioning back to the enemy with Shadow Step. Plus the auto attack you do after casting shadow step is an unsheathe attack, it's damage is increased and after casting Shadow Step Last, you have a chance to evade an attack coz you are not casting any skills, Thus triggering Flash Blast Evasion attack.

4. Consider getting Pgolem on Weapon. 300 MP + short ranged damage increase and physical pierce is a worthy buy

 

Well it's definitely not 10 seconds (maybe 5secs too), I often cancel trigger slash and Charging made me successfully run from AOE it's my personal taste(?)

I can consider it but as I use elemental weapon.... I need 7 Xtal on all elemental weapon is just extremely expensive...

I consider it but... -25% all resistance is actually ULTIMATE drawback, high level boss can easily deal 2k+++ damage to you under flexible defense reduction and resistance reduction.. So calculating the risk I'm not taking that risk :|

 

it's just more of a basis rather than facts. but yeah the time i said wont be the real time.

If you ask me which one is better @-90% Smited Skill it would be Twin Slash.
IF you wanted to maximize Charging Slash Dmge. try and create a longer combo where it can go 130%.
I do have in mind.
Combo: Astute>Trigger Save>Reflex Cons>Flash Blast Cons>Charging Slash Smite>Shadow Step Lvl10 Cons
This might take 5secs to finish but you have the buff all the time LOL + you get 130% Charging Slash smited.

(Its Like im charging hiten mitsurugi......... Charging Slash !!! LOL Haha)

 

Good Idea! but talking about the combo length.... plus i don't think i need to active Evasiona nd Flash every time, it stands for more long time... well as i mentioned... I need more than 30 Combo points to utilize DW, 10 CP is super nottt enough... I really want 130% damage Charge tho :/

But if Twin slash is better smithed... maybe u should consider that Charging slash buffed by Flash Blast too :/ the damage is double Twin Slash..

 

Cyp I test both time....
Hard hit -> asture -> trigger timing is almost exactly the same as astute -> S.Step -> charging slash and it deal way more damage

Its arguable whether the my combo is more risky, but the way I use it, I often use it to run from AOe and safe myself.. I don't think the combo is dangerous :/

Difference in play style. That's why we post our builds, it's for people to try and pick the one that works for them ^^

With all the builds @Cella has already posted regarding sword builds, she has her fair share of background and experimenting.

I truly feel fortunate to be amongst the likes of you @Cella @makOi @Cypherian @Starlord. Without you guys, sword discussions will not be so exciting ^^

Now, if I wasn't lazy and lvled my DW to lvl 70/cap, I might be able to contribute to this discussion.

Still, it's nice to see people post their builds and compare them with yours/others' to see the difference in play style.

 

I forgot to tag you because my stupid brain always forget your forum name. From what I've seen, you made noteworthy comments too ^^

Mine is only lvl 45 as we speak as I remade it recently. Level doesn't matter, what you know is in you, not the toon ^^

 

Its fun to make some test/experiment tho it cost alot of spina to make some test builds unless someone is willing to boost you til you reach 60+ or some donation like Bnuts/Mmh.
Im done with the DW test. Time to farm and earn back those spina ive spent.
