username limit increase?

    guys, i remember seeing some info from livestream
    and it said that they will increase characters limit for username, from 8 characters to 16 characters
    is this true or i just remembering things wrong? i already searched for it in this forum but i cant find it anymore
    can anyone confirm or give the source?
