1.)I don't ppl buy stuff from NPCs,this game is more synthesis based. So you have to craft your own gear/get a drop from a mob. This also means that material prices are higher than the finished gear.
    2.)Idk.....sorry
3.)For exp and spina at early lvls, just farm at goblins. It's quick, and a stack of drops known as small articles can be exchanged for 11.5k exp to an npc,or you can sell them to players for 2k-3k.If you wanna lvl up quick, join a guild and get into a party and farm 24/7.
    Hope this helped...

They are at Ruined Temple Area 1 and 2. They are Level 20.

Try looking at the World Map sometimes~ It's handy! ^.^ Menu > Map > World Map, just in case you don't know where it is.

For your second question, here's a list of some mobs that drop knuckle-type weapons:
Piedras in Rakau Plains drop Knuckles
Pain Leafs in Isthmus of Kaus drop Iron Knuckles
Little Boars in Nisel Mountain drop Knuckle Dusters
Rutins in Land of Chaos drop Claws
Minotaur (Boss) in Ruined Temple drops Minotaur Knuckles
Ruin Golem (Boss) in Zoktzda Ruins drops Golem Arm

Those are the ones I know of. There are prolly others out there. Typically, boss drops tend to have better stats than the crafted versions of them.

For getting money, try to run at least 6 quests daily. You get 1000 spina from that. A good rotation that I used was Frente's Goblins in the Ruined Temple quest with Lefina's Small Articles quest and Yunis's Can't Collect Stone! quest. On every few runs to Ruined Temple to reach the goblins, I would kill 10 Piedras on the way. The quest reward is 3 Save Points. I would then kill 50 goblins and use a Save Point to return to town to sell and turn in the two quests. Then I would repeat this process until I had collected 30 Small Articles, after which I would turn in the quest to Lefina. The rate of EXP I calculated to be about 500 per minute (once I got to be able to kill goblins faster), I believe. It also builds up your spina, so that's a side bonus. If you're in a party that farms at a good rate, that quest rotation becomes less efficient than straight farming thirty small articles and turning in all three quests at once, though.

    The blacksmith in town can create equipment for you. Try checking out the recipes before you go hunting sometime. If you prefer, you can find someone who will craft it for you or you can create a blacksmith character, yourself. Also the aforementioned drops still work. I primarily used dropped equipment, myself. There are certain perks to crafted equipment, especially player-crafted equipment, such as having different stats or the sheer convenience. Player-crafted equipment is a bit unique in that it doesn't have additional effects inherently like NPC Blacksmithed or dropped equips do. Instead, players can add their own effects to the equipment. That's kinda interesting and whatnot, so... Something for you to think about. ^ ^;

The Green Dots are NPCs. The Purple Dots on the Map are Portals to other areas. The Map is on the Lower bottom right of the screen. The Bigger Map is on the Menu.

Yep... There's only an icon of you, the exits of the map you're on, and the monsters around. Edit: I just read Maylu's comment. I forgot about that. xD
I think also important story locations. Uh... The merchant is to your left from the Rakau Plains entrance. Frente is right next to him. Yunis is next to the Land Under Development entrance, and Lefina is on the main road. She's the fancy lady. xD Blacksmith, Synthesist, and Library are the buildings north of town that are off the main road. They have signs. You'll find them eventually if you explore town. Don't worry.
Important note about sub-quests: They require both a certain level (on the current character) and a certain amount of progress into the story quests (shared throughout the account). In general, the sub-quests for an area will open up when the main quests take you there.

This is unrelated to your original questions, but here's a little tip: Talk to EVERY NPC you see. Check the minimap for them. They tend to give useful information. Even if you already know some of it, it's still quite useful. A lot of it is common knowledge amongst more experienced players, but I've seen a fair amount of people make terrible, uninformed decisions when they could have received the answer from a random NPC somewhere. In the game. You can find a lot of information on these forums, as well. If you're uncertain about stuff, try browsing around here, especially the Class and Guide sections. Maybe check the shoutbox and see if anyone can answer you quickly. Before long, you'll become a pro! ^.^
