What is aggro?

I saw that archers use sneak atack but I do not know what it's for.

 

so the boss doesnt target u.
The more high mp skills u use the more is ther boss tend to turn against u.

 

"aggro" is short for "aggression".
it measures how likely it is to be targeted by the enemy.

when you are alone, it doesn't matter since there are no other targets than you.
but when you are in party, each boss and mob will compare the aggro of all party members and target the one who holds the most.
aggro is generated by attacking and using skills.
each skill generates a different amount of aggro and can generate aggro for one or all enemies, depending on it's effect.

aggro+% and -% increase or decrease the amount of generated aggro.
the skill Provoke generates a large amount of aggro for one target.
Sneak Attack prevents a certain amount of aggro from being generated, but it only applies to shot skills.

the "prevent aggro" works like the save combo tag.
depending on Sneak Attack's skill level, a set amount of aggro is "saved" and the subtracted from Shot Skills you use. so your Shot Skills will not generate aggro until the savings are used up.
other party members will continue to generate aggro normally, so their total amount will be higher than yours.
