Why scams get 0 Respect

I believe we can also gain free orbs just by logging in and completing some emblems?

 

Sigh... then give some ideas on how to deal with these scammer rather than bashing other people idea just because you think it's not worth it.

 

Knowing what sorrow might befall upon our scammed friends, i'd hate to play devil's advocate...
Seriously, take your time in doing everything. Rushing will only increase our carelessness proc rate, no matter what kind of weapon u use as main, there's no skill to decrease carelessness penalty.
Never buy it when people are forcing u to do fast trade.
N again, seconding Ianjuro above, always double check the item n spina amount in trade window before hitting Confirm button.
Scammings are still around because there're people that's prone to it, no matter how many times we posted threads againts or to prevent scamming.

NP: @NUT2Fast if that scammed friend of urs still around, tell him that i'd be glad to give her that 600k spina that he/she lost, just to reconsider quitting the game

 

Double check trades. End of story.
Also, that was not bashing. That was just pointing out some things.

 

What's frustrating is that even if they had a reporting system, most cases, the scammer will still get away with it. The system recorded a legitimate transaction and the GMs will usually turn around and blame the buyer for not double-checking and give a whole 25 minute lecture on how the game is designed with this in mind and that there are ways for buyer to double check and why he should, and at the end of the day, dismissed the complaint without doing anything about it.

I feel sorry for the buyer though, don't think I'm heartless. I'm just pointing out that having a channel to complain about scams may not always protect the buyers. When it turns out that it is the scammer that is being protected by the law (I.e. Innocent until proven guilty), it only adds frustration to the honest players.

 

Living in sofya = living with scammers. Thats why i rarely shout in sofya anymore after auction is out, i wud rather pay the tax and wait longer than getting on my nerf against those scammers

 

Well this can't be done for refining service.(remember the hotgriII(double capital i) scammer?)

 

Exactly why i made my own chemist/refiner.
Now i can refine my stuffs up to +8, which is quite nice for me. n once i get him to 80, i can put stats over potentials myself, bye bye "looking for pot mods" sofya camping

 

For this case, double check the refiner. See if he/she has a reputation. Then it's up to you if you trust or not.

 

Soon then everyone has their own bs and refiner XD, no one wud need to buy XD

Crafters are the only legit sellers in Toram. U can check all the stuffs that they sell along with sub-stat or potentials.
Refiner n synther are kinda "shady" service providers to me. They only base their guarantee on "trust", a thing that supposed to be expensive nowadays.
Don't even get me started on those piercer n xtal extract services...

 

Lol yea if u see them xtal extracting for days or weeks its definitely scam

 

Wow. I know this happens but this is the first time seeing it with my own eyes. Quiting something you enjoy because someone else made it no longer fun..

 

I had no idea people could be so shameless!
It's bloody hard, especially when your still finding your feet. I gave people stacks of mario hearts not knowing I could sell them.
So everyone gets robbed in some way. I guess it's a learning curve.

Well it was a dumb idea. To a troll that has excess spending. They could buy up orbs and get everyone temp or perm banned due to that idea.
