Xtals(n add) for mage ?

l wanted to ask/confirm what xtals are most beneficial for a mage?
Is machina ring with ‘York’ n ‘Guignol’ good for % matk?
‘Ifrid’ for armour; for mp?
N..what xtal for staff..?
Oh n what add n xtal?
Cuz without any int/matk xtals, my matk rn is easy above 2.8k, so l assume proper xtals will increase it atleast up to 3k..?

 

Mozto machina and/or shampy for staff, ancient empress II for extra matk% or eidenliebe with maxhp%and 10%magic pierce for additional gear, heaven feather garb with iron empress xtal would be great, 4k maxhp, 400maxmp, 6%matk, iron empress xtal would give you 10% physical resist, 20% maxhp and 5% matk. I wouldn't recommend York since it reduces your maxmp, use venena xtal if you haven't reach the maxmp cap, the rest of the xtal for 2nd slot can be guignols.

Overall, with the maxhp% xtals you can be really tanky without sacrificing much damage, with eidenliebe xtal you'll get 10% magic pierce which would be worth 100matk for a 1k mdef bosses.

12% and 20% max hp from eidenliebe and iron empress xtal would give you an extra umph on your max hp, you can put less vit that way, on top of the 4k maxhp from the heaven feather garb, you can use the rest of the Stat point on dex

Well, finale will get some enhancement so we can't really be sure how the damage calculation would turn out. But if it stays relatively the same with the 3k skill constant, going with maxhp% would be beneficial in the big picture.

Also, with the toram anniversary right around the corner, the NPC anniv Staff would probably be the best option since it will likely have 6%+matk & Int, high base weapon atk and 24%+ magic resist, and 20%+ cspd

 

I would say.
If ur on tight budget
Lil empress staff/imitacia coz extra 200mp bae.
Any shield dagger whatever u prefer. If u have biscuit knife then thats good.
Heavens feather garb with guignol.
Sorcery hat
With ancient empress 2.
Dark fighter amulet
With venena.
Gets job done and have low aggro and somewhere between 3 to 3.5k matk
If u have biscuit knife all u need to do is find a-aggro buff frnd and there u will have -100% aggro so no need for sneak also.
