It's been awhile

I'm back & I'm not better, lel. Toram is so foreign to me now... dude my guildie is lvl 220??? Whaa I remember cap was like 130 when I retired and the newest map was in outer space!

Anywayyy, I had a dream...
That I was gonna be fashionably out of date by making a bs/synth character to make custom equipment sets (i.e. armor+weapon+accessories). You know like FashionNova but ToramForumNova?

I'm so lost in Toram.

• Do I build BS or Synth or both?
• What skills do I focus on?
• Idc about refining stats.. unless I should?
• I restarted as brawler.. I can't find any updated builds here or on Coryn especially for what I want to do
• I normally prefer dps/breaker but open to something new for most efficient & effective build
• Open to changing class (can I do this without starting a new character?)
• It's been hard to find parties and I don't mind playing solo
• Tell me a story

technically it is possible to get both in one, but then you won't have any combat abilities.
if you really want to get every production skill, it would be better to separate smith and alchemy skills on 2 characters.

in what context?
for production i'd start with taking all the basics (refine, craft, stat, brew, fuse) and get upgrade skills when you need them.
especially for equipment synthesis the upgrade skills are not needed until you reach 3-lock and higher.

stats cannot be refined, only equipment can. as for stats that affect the success rate of refinement, that would be tec.

make your own then. or ask @RyeUshio for some brawler tips.

everyone wants to be dps, so as a production character you'll have no chance in the stupid race for the attacker rank.

you missed the free reset and there won't be another in the foreseeable future.
for a complete remake you'd need ~50(?) orbs, so better make a new character.
there is enough main quest exp to reach 130 again, and higher.

you will need parties.

not too long ago, in a land uncomfortably close by, there was a young man who lost his glasses. he looked all around the room, even on the floor and under every shelf, trying to find them. a thin layer of accumulated dust obstructed his vision, so he said: "i can't see anything with this dust in the way. no wonder i cannot find my glasses." so he took off his glasses to clean them, and as he put them back on he realised that they had been right on his nose the whole time.

 

Hello there fellow brawler, we're level 240 now.

I'd say make a yt research 1st on skills like Rush, Chariot, Goliath Punch, Soul Hunter, Nemesis, Gatling Dagger, Arcane Strike, Sicarius, Shadow Walk, Enchant Sword, Enchanted Burst, with the upcoming tier5 skills Asura Asura and Psychic Thousand Hand.

Doing so, seeing them in action, you'll figure out which brawler path you'll be taking.

@Red_Fox all my brawlers are currently on reset and hibernating waiting for tier5

btw, the story is good, tho I'd like you to give it a darker end.
