Low snipe damage

Hey so I recently sold my Mage gear off and started building a sniper, despite having what I think is decent gear my snipe damage seems incredibly low compared to what I've seen people do. My highest hit is 36k on Mauez, with average being around 20-30k.

Level 72 Full dex
WBG c888 @50+D + Ganglef
Plate armour c888 + Boss Roga
Warhelm + warmonger
Dex II tali + boss goblin

I'm using the moeba > impact(save) > snipe(smite) > smash(consecutive) combo mostly.

I'm usually using high quality wood arrow since I'm still making or remaking for good roll ele arrows, but can anyone point me in the right direction for getting my damage up? Any advice would be appreciated.

 

Crit up 10 atk up 10!
Also using elementals arrows is a good idea!

 

36 isn't bad for the saver combo

 

I have attack up 5, and crit up 10 adding points to attack up as I level up now, I've been working on crafting the ele arrows but I see a lot of other people doing like 50-100k Steele arrows really holding me back that much?

 

There high snipes are probly the 150% damage snipe the saver is a 90% snipe

 

Honestly, 36k for mana saver combo is a decent damage.I'm a lv72 full dex sniper just like you (though different gears), and my mana saver combo commonly 20-30k, highest was 40k on Roga.You can try the pure damage combo for higher attack and try to learn the timing.Enjoy sniping. ^-^

Im also having a hard time choosing a good gear n xtal. Tbh i hate c888 it doesnt do anything it's just an overrated stat.

I'm starting to feel inclined to agree. I think it's likely a trade off because 4% dex 4% atk on both wep and armour would probably net almost 200 more atk total. I'll have to buy a different weapon and do some playing around .

 

c888 no good I think. I prefer cdmg+8/cdmg+4%

The 1st skill after save is -60% penalty
So its actually 40%.......smiting that 40% its (1.50)(40%)=60% skill damage
If you do 36k save combo on mauez, you can do (potentially) 90k on a full smited combo
E.g. impact/snipesmite/moeba consec

Your damage isnt low, its actually above average... The save computations you were expecting is just a bit erroneous

36k was the 100mp Saver combo yeah. I started using just impact > snipe (smite) > smash (consecutive) and was consistently hitting around 120k on Forestia. I suppose I just severely underestimated saves reductions.

 

Whats an Elelmentals Arrow? Because i checked BS but its not there? How can i get it?

Some arrows have elements, like how ice arrows have water element, earth elements from the nuts quest, fire arrows have fire element, and so on so on
