The Missing Sun Chapter One -fanfic

CHAPTER ONE

"Sigh... still no guildies on...?" Cher said into her message transmitter, set to "Guild". Standing in the middle of the busy hustle-bustle road of Sofya City, she waited an awkward moment in silence, before quickly jolted to her senses. "A..Ah! Linny!? " She'd turned her head for just a moment, to notice her miracle potum just about get pumelled by a passing boar cart.

Everything seemed to move slowly, before a bright green light burst out from around her. Shocked, her eyes widened as her jaws dropped. "R..Right! Linny?!" Swiveling around, she noticed that the rest of the town seemed to be frozen. Crowds handing in their quests to the overwhelmed NPC (New Player Caretakers), fair trades, and one scammer about to jump away with their new loot. "CAN YOU JUST GRAB YOUR POTUM? I CAN'T F***'IN HOLD THIS SANCTUARY FOREVER Y'KNOW" Cher stared at the angry-looking boy who had shouted at her for a moment, not having realized he was there. "R..Right, Sorry!!" She ran over to Linny, and scooped up his chubby little body. 'Have I been overfeeding hi--' She couldn't finish her thought before the green wall of light disappeared as quickly as it had come, and the world began to slowly run again. "Thank goodness you're okay, Linny..." She said softly into his fur, while he began to chew on her long twin tails. "HEY, MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!"

The voice pierced through her relief, and as she looked up, she cursed herself for being so absent minded. 'Turns out the life flashing thing was a fake hu--' Suddenly, a strong arm pulled her aside, and she and the owner of the arm were flung over the ridge seperating carts and pedestrians. Clinging onto that arm, she forgot to let go until the owner of the arm spoke. "Uh... Your crystal armor is kind of digging into my neck..." Flushing a deep red, she pushed herself away from him, and realized it was the same boy who had saved Linny. "Y..YOU.!" Her voice cracked, and he smirked. "What are you, dumb? Why would you stand in the middle of the road? Escpecially after your potum was uh, just about run over?" Cher turned her head away, pouting a little before pulling herself to her feet, as people were starting to stare at the duo who'd flew into the middle of the road. "I..I..UH... I'm sorry!" She said loudly, embarassed, before spinning quickly on her heels. "Wait. You're Cher right? That super righ ranked Alchemist?" The boy sounded genuinely interested, so she slowly turned back to face him. Linny was beginning to bite at her, so she pulled him closer and whispered "Shhhh, mommy's getting spina for your dinner." "Yes, what of it?" She tried to sound calm, keeping a distorted straight face. "Pffft... you look scary... and well, I just paid a fortune to get my bowgun refined, but I heard you don't charge as mu--" "Okay, I get it. Here, add me." Interrupting him, she realized that she was in quite a bit of a hurry as her message transmitter beeped, alerting her of an appointment she had soon.

"Cher, huh? I'll remember that." He winked, and she barely had time to turn around, hiding her bright red cheeks. "Y..Yeah whatever..." Smiling to herself, she quickly walked away, towards the government building.

"U..Ugh... so much PDA... " She said quietly, but not without a hint of jealousy. Entering the waiting room, she checked up on her Alchemist's ranking, relieved to see she was still number two. Number one was still taken up by whom she liked to think of as her lover, Calisto. It hadn't been long enough since the incident for him to be removed. It gave her hope. She began to feel a sharp tapping at her shoulder, before looking up into the face of the Head Of Investigations, Luna.

"I called you a couple times, you know, Cher. You're too absent minded.. I swear you would be scammed all the time if you weren't such an impressive Alchemist." Sighing, she had an exasperated expression on her face. "O..Oh um... could we talk in your office?" Cher asked, slowly pulling her face away from Luna's.

Luna's face suddenly grew grave, as she turned to lead Cher to her office. "We've gotten few reports as to what may have happened to Calisto." Cher grimaced, hearing his name still pierced her heart anymore than her snipe could. Calisto had gone missing around a week ago, and she'd naturally gone to the government for help. "What we believe had happened, is that Calisto was defeated in the mazes. However, just as he was defeated, the guild was disbanded, trapping him there.-" Just then, Cher's message transmitter let out a loud beep, cutting off Luna. Wincing, she saw a message from 'Unknown', and as she usually ignored these messages, she decided to check it this once. "Hey, suggestion, klutz. Accept my friend request ;(" It read. 'Ah, right, I haven't added that boy back yet...' Cher looked up with an apologetic smile, and told Luna to go on. Cher had slightly tuned out, as she went to her "Pending Friend Request" tab. Then, her blood went cold. "The guild master's name who'd disbanded the guild was Eclipse." Luna said softly. Looking up at Luna slowly, Cher then looked back down at the open tab. "Pending request from: Level 95, Eclipse."

I love reading manga only but since i love toram heres my like ^^ "that super high rank alchemist♥ keep it up !!!

Also i dont know if you knew this or just you did it on purpose as part of the story..just to avoid you might spoiled someone and spread the word NPC-Non Player/Playing Character

So Calisto was in the guild maze....the guild disbanded while he was in the maze...he was also defeated in the maze while the guild disbanded and it trapped him inside the guild maze. Soooo~ why didn't he reset his game?
