Iroh's 2h DPS Spammer (without Impact)

Hi guys its me again this time with a 2h DPS with out Impact. Damage is better than Save Smited combo since it avoids all the penalties from save and smite

Stats:

Equipment:

-Berserker Blade +C CritRate10% CritRate10 CritDmg10 CritDmg7% (Pillar Golem Xtal - For MP)
-Knight Armour +C CritRate10% CritRate10 CritDmg10 CritDmg7% (Roga Xtal for HP)
-Forehead Protector +C 1500HP 15 Defense 1% Physical Def
-Muscle Talisman (Mauez for MP)

*100 MP Xtals are good enough if you dont have high end stuff
*Use support items like Vita II and Magi-Add II and Gems, They were made for a reason
*Try to Up your Crit Dmg as much as possible with Crit Gears

Combo:

Standard Combo (200MP)
Astute> Hard Hit/Assault Atk> Sonic Wave> Trigger Slash> Sword Tempest (All Consecutive)



Mana Saver (100 MP)
Hard Hit/Holy Fist> Assault Atk> Sonic Wave> Trigger Slash> Sword Tempest (All Consecutive)

*Damage is better than save smite and triiger before tempest makes it fast and more spammable if u like spamming that much
*Damage Increases tremendously with good proration, I can out DPS snipes thet do not use the @Precaria Heavy Snipe combo
*In my opinion Purist 2h can Dish out more DPS than Impact builds as seen in the videos below
*Im open to any comments and suggesstions

Hmmm.. So instead of impact you went on and used quick draw right? Quick Draw's mp back feature is by chance am I right? Will you be able to turn tempest to smite to maximize the damage?

 

take a look at this player. he also dont have impact.

I use the exact skills combo as this guide provided. all conse. But i find that the damage became ultra low at my tempest. Honestly I simply do not have enough skill point for impact.

 

I just dont get the point of using your most powerful skill without smite, doesnt give you the full damage potential.

If u used save at 2nd skill, in order to use smite at max potential without penalty, it will have to be at the 6th skill of the combo. Honestly. As a 2h sword having 6 skill combo is a nightmare. U will tank unnecessary. Not to forget u will lose alot mp because theres no 7th skill to cover that penalty.

Let say u use smite right away on 2nd skill.. It will roughly cost 500 to 600mp. Even if ur mp is 20bar..it will be depleted and the boss might not be dead. Quick draw give u a 30% proc rate. Not exactly reliable.

Technically speaking.. Having all consecutive give the best dps. U only lose 10% on the 2nd skill and 20% on third and so on.

Save combo only make u able to spam ur most beloved mp expensive skills.

 

Thanks for the input. I have a 2mp combo thanks to makOi, pretty much I am happy with the combo. Tanking does'nt bother me at all as I am really focused with DPS and not tanking, its a brawlers thing for me and I leave it to them. Maybe in the future ill try removing impact and use quick draw with shellbreak to see if that would improve the chance of getting back your MP. I guess your items would really make this build successful in a way.

 

Well. You are technically right. I also have a 2mp combo. But I play as a solo player. But I don't farm bosses nor farm spina. Haha. I'm more focused on having a best outlook for my toon.

 

Nice! Actually at first I really dont care on how my toon looks like as long as I have the correct stats. Later on, I tried getting a horned armor, I think thats what it is, an avatar on the store and got the lower part. Now I am aiming for a Kimono style upper avatar, then a nure mask that is red and a sakura 2h app so I'll be looking like an old Oni Samurai lol. Its a fun thing to do really. Anyways thank you very much at least we shared our thoughts and learned from the discussion.

 

i just used 5 orb since i got it for free doing this friend adding.. got this fairy wing.. it look so CUTE! Stats and skills come second. Ultimately, its a 4players vs boss game.

 

Well yeah..Didnt wanna wast 22 skill points on impact.. For me a full consec combo does higher DPS than a Save Smite..

My New Combo is Astute>HH/Assault Attack(for no flinch bosses)>Sonice Wave>Trigger Slash>Tempest

If you follow this build then Tempest is no longer your main damaging skill but it still hits decently. Astute becomes the main damaging skill it can hit anywhere from 10k to 28k depending on the proration and with this setup (Trigger before tempest) I can spam faster.

 

Difference between Save Smite and Full Cons

Example:

Astute>Impact(SAVE)>Tempest(SMITE)>Trigger(CONS)

1.Astute (100% Damage)
2.Impact(-80% Damage/Banks 200MP)
3.Tempest(-60% Damage from Save, +50% Damage from Smite, Halves MP Usage from Save)
4.Trigger Slash(-10% from Cons(on fourth slot not sure if -10% or -30%), -50 Damage from Smite, -40% Damage from Save)

Astute>HH>Sonic Blade>Trigger>Tempest (All CONS)

1.Astute(100% Damage)
2.Hard Hit(-10% Damage from Cons)
3.Sonic Blade(-20% Damage from Cons)
4.Trigger(-30% Damage from Cons)
5.Tempest(-40% Damage from Cons)

Experimented on both and Full cons gives me more DPS because All my Skills usually hit 5k above compared to Save Smite where only 1st skill and Smited skill hit decently and with Trigger before Tempest it adds an auto swift so i can spam faster..

Yeah, I agree spiral Lv10 hits harder but most bosses now have no flinch/tumble/Stun. So this is what I usually use when farming Nure. Pillar and Jade. My Combo for Roga an other bosses that allow flinch/tumble is Astute>HH>Trigger>Spiral>Tempest to keep it at 200MP combo.

 

Well, Since i didnt have impact i couldn't come up with a decent 1MP combo except for Holy Fist/Hard Hit>Assault Attack>Astute>Trigger/Spiral>Tempest(All CONS). Maybe you could give me some suggestions..

 

i have a question.
first of all, i want to build 2h dps, and saw ur combo, its a long ass combo because its 1mp combo, but i see sanctuary + flashblast on it, and thinking, if there's sanctuary then maybe its okay to have a long combo..
and so, the question...
for a DPS (full STR) character using sanctuary, does using forehead +1500hp + Max HP boost suffice ? never used sanctuary before but its effects depends on player's maxHP right ? on lv 100, i would have 4,5k HP (base HP , roga, max hp boost, forehead protector)
