Historia-Toram Online

Hi, everyone! This is my first thread I made in forum and tbh I have no idea what topic that's far more better than this At least, I need to make one, no matter how silly it is (as long as I stick to the rules)
Well, I'll start it by your story. Tell us how did you end up playing Toram Online, going through your mq when you were new players, how did you mess up your first char, why did you come back after frustrated, your wish for this game, the best friends you befriended with, or blocked o_o, or anything. You can include old pictures if you might I hope we can learn something from all of your stories. Feel free to share.

 

Well, I started playing back in early August last year with 2 other people that I knew IRL. I messed up my character from day 1 but soon started to follow builds which made my knowledge of character building expand. Soon after, they quit while I still played but 1 came back afterwards and continues to be one of my closest friends. We met this one other person who happens to live on the other side of the world. She had a Miku cosplay on and I switched to mine and the 3 of us became close. Before that 1 person came back, I joined my current guild; Nota. Now we all are in the same guild. We then started a Bnut business cause we thought we could handle it but too many orders happened like 3 times and we closed it down. We met another person due to one of us being friends with them and our group had 4 members. We also brought in another but idk if he's official. He's on trial. I'm not really the type to block people unless they do the same and idk why :/. My closest friends would be Asteria. (The person who came back into the game), Touiro (the person we met with the Miku cosplay), Sefra110 (Tourio's bud bud who she introduced), and spirit•7 (the person on trial).

 

I had two close friends when I was a newbie. We fought many bosses, and they helped me to clear my mq to the last in Empress in that time. One of them is a Mage and the other one is a dw. We respected each other even tho I was a low level, far too low. Unfortunately, they seemed inactive for a long time, and may be quit. Idk. It's sad to know those who helped me just went quit. i had to look for another game when Chain Chronicle was closed (the global version, it's still in japan), but when i first saw toram, the sample screenshots didn't look very interesting and i ignored it.
later i stumbled on it again and watched the video (the old one) and then i felt the urge to play it. that was in november shortly after the end of the halloween event. i liked the graphics so much, that every other mmorpg looks ugly now

i messed up my chars often because i was not used to this stat system. so i reset often, which probably wasted the exp reward from the main quest.
but i know everything now :3
my last reset was after nurethoth on lv79, now i'm back to 75. only my lv77 alchemist was not reset, i only changed her hair and eye colour twice.

I'm pretty sure I said all my backstory in another thread, but if so I'll be a a little bit more detailed.

I'm an old player that took a small break after playing solo. I played by my self for maybe 2 - 3 months. I never joined parties and I never joined a guild until around November. I got a request from @Squid and he mentioned something similar to this. ' A person with your knowledge would be good in our guild " Or something similar. I can't really remember because it was in the beginning of the first Toram Online Line Chat. I soon left my previous guild.

Thank you @Shino A. for inviting me to your guild before I joined Potum. Although it was small with about 30+ members haha. I still remember Crackpot, Queen, Laka, Leko, etc. You where all family to me. It was sad that the guild split afterwards though due to some conflicts.

The first days in Potum where scary Tbh. I didn't open up to anyone at first and I wouldn't talk much. I would do my own thing killing random mobs. Back then I didn't have a Mage either. I would sometimes go in a party of randoms and farm kijimu at athema ruins. I would use Sonic blade before I bought some magic skills and leveled up Magic Wall. Hahahaha....

Main quests where a pain in the arse for me. I had to Solo every boss on my own that was from Flare Volg. That was the time when I didn't have a guild either. I used my messes up 1H on the bosses as well.

My first build was a 1H with messed up stats. Always had the BD armor and had pink hair in a pony tail. I got a screenshot of it here actually. Btw, I am to stupid to understand builds so.... I had to learn lots of stuff the hard way.



Anyway, my closest friends, well, you can probably guess who they are for those who I talk too the most. You can figure that out yourself. I ain't picking favorites out in public like this.

 

My main is a dw. I was underestimated by using it long ago. I hardly ever went to a party, and forced to solo all the time, until my two closest friends came. I reset and delete for many times, I found many errors in my build bcs of my lack of knowledge. Now, I have a mage char and an alchemist for my secondary. My first and my main? I still keep it to remind me of my newbies, so I can avoid my stupidity. Thanks for sharing

 

I first played Avabel, then Stellacept but went back to Avabel...When I got tired of Avabel, I looked at Asobimo's games and tried Iruna but didn't like antique style...then there was Toram and got addicted to it I went through mq with ppl around bosses (random pt) I only blocked one person currently (someone who told me to suck his D) My best friends in Toram (I have many but only stating forumer rn) are @-Snow- @XYunoX @Floxy @Mekara77 @avalicia
I still have my first character, bschemy...his stat need to be reset but currently he's magic bschemy (high int...) I didn't know anything about toram but I liked magic before so I started as magic (but current bs's magic skill is gone)...now I don't have any magic user but 1 brawler, 2 different types of swordies (2h/1h high survivability dps and gunblade) and 1 multi-dps tank (vit,int for def and mdef with matk)
My wish....c'mon, we need teleportation system on each map...so large now....(need teleporter like Avabel) also plz no lag and we need snow map (need to be cool down the mind) I want higher drop rate for xtal and equips...too hard to farm rare drops (I might want to see unique/exclusive equipment if there is one XD Anyone who have it is awesome!!)

 

Nice story The day I joined a guild was in an offline guild. I decided to leave. I joined a new one and indeed they were a new guild. I'm close with the guild master and the vice, we build it since the very beginning. I chose to leave again, since one by one they left, including my vice, and suddenly inactive. Roaming solo again, found two other guilds, but I left them again with the same reason. I'm solo since then. Thanks for sharing

I joined a guild but they all suddenly quit toram so I left....and I joined like 3 more (all of them left or inactive) left....decided to make my own which was Tales of Fairies...it was going well but when I got busy with school and couldn't be active, everyone started to leave 1 by 1.... It was big guild..once it was member capped at guild lv 10 @HaruChan was in my guild too XD well, at the last, I decided to disband the guild and joined Crimson Clouds which @Mekara77 is in XD (But it went inactive too T^T

Hmm....pet food problem...idk...let hunger conquer them after farming xp (I'll keep making genpest as pet so it can use its large aoe insta kill move...Yelb and pillar golem might be ok too)

 

Welp where do I even start lol I guess I'll start with the very first time I started playing which was during the last few months of last year, I was playing iruna and was video chatting with a friend I had made ig and she was telling me about a new game she heard about from Asobimo called Toram Online so I asked if we should check it out and 20 minutes later we didn't know wtf we were doing or even how to change the ch etc complete noobs *still am tbh * started to play Toram every day till near the end of the year till my friend that told me about Toram in the first place had to stop playing because of health problems etc and I got kinda depressed cuz I didn't have anyone else I could talk too ig so I quit but a few weeks later started playing again cuz she texted my ass saying " Hoe where tf are you I'm back xD I'm at Rakau waiting for your ass, help me level up!!!! " And I immediately started playing again lol.

Few months later I stopped playing and deleted the app cuz problems at home, but came back around May or so and to my bad luck lost my account but oh well life goes on I guess and made my current account lol I started playing again up to level 44 when I joined forums *after having lurked in it for a long time xD* and soon after I joined Nota ended up being raped ig by @vulpixsi less than 2 weeks after joining tho lmao made friends with @Sefra110 and ended up becoming part of a group with her @Bedsheet @Asteria and @Touiro ( AND ME BEING A TRIAL MEMBER THATS RIGGED SMH I'VE BEEN IN THE GROUP FOR MONTHS CRI ) and after a while ended up leveling to 71 in like 2 days cuz bed wanted me to do slave labor in bitter sweet lol the rest well y'all don't need to know >.>

And as for the girl we still pt when we can but since she lives on the other side of the planet its kinda difficult to hang :^

Edit: Oh and regarding to my chars well my main is my lv 73 dw *been lazy to cap it lol* secondary is my mage can't remember the lv, third is my snipe which I'm gonna work on soon and last one is my bs which I'm working on atm and is lv 20 something lol

 

I went to a cosplay fest. and hug one in selfie, along with the other same cosplayers. Reality is far more richer than I thought lol

 

Pet...let me think besides Pokemon. Boss Colon? Bcs he's so nut XD
