cages don't have a lvl limit (it not like pokeball, greatbal, etc xD) we only have 1 cage to rule them all :3 it all depends on the players max lvl.

The scorpions around jade raptor can't be caught.

But the lil Nekos can...

 

The effect of natures is still unknown to me and I think one pets can have all weapons, it may not be limited (still needs to be tested)

I noticed that the type determines the starting stat distribution. However, what and how much will be the effect of the careful capture skill?
Also can you tell me where can I see the info about pet's nature?

Lol it actually was my mistake there, I didn't take a proper look at your username and both you and @Sokarotu got blank and white dp

 

so, my Frosch learned 3 skills and they are all active.
but he only uses normal attacks...
how can i motivate him to activate his magical abilities?

 

How do.u already have a pet. Did u use an orb instead of spina?

My tamer is level 80 but can't catch over level 30 stuff... I dunno why. But can catch countless level 20ish roars.
Maxed all tamer SP. What am I missing.

 

Hmm, I caught a Calm. You have to let them engage in battle to level them up.


NOTE:
So I recommend you remove your weapon and punch mobs until your pet catches up.

Also you need to balance disciplines between skills and stating. Because once they're 100% disciplined their stats and skills are locked in.

The first skill can be selected, then up to an additional 4 can be randomised. One would assume if you started in the corner you have a greater chance to obtain an advanced skill for your pet.

SPECIAL NOTE:

Depending on how you arrange your home, you can have random monsters appear that aren't pet. Currently my garden has invited a random Kumuji, which just walks around. Is this normal? I haven't seen anyone else's homes with non-pets walking around?

I have a feeling it is because I have mainly trees and a tent? Secondary effect?
