New DW Player

I'm new to the DW character (I main a MD character) and wanted to know what you guys would recommend for builds as a DW. I was just a casual player that played the game but now I wanna be a little more detailed in my play style. Currently I've only been grinding DEX and AGI as recommended by the game (see my skill and stats setup in the attached pics). Also what would you guys recommend as far as equipment to boost MP/HP. Thanks!

If I messed up I'd like to know how I messed up instead of just being told I messed up and to delete the character. I'm all for making a better character but I want to know where I messed up.

 

You need str stat. Str stat will up the damage you critical attacks deals, and it will also give you more stability so your damage doesnt flucuate much. Since you already have 42 dex and 42 agi its a good start just dont add anymore to those stats until you get you str stat up to 150 or 200. I perfer 200, but its up to you. I used to have a build with 200 str 50agi and 50dex and it was pretty good. I no longer use it though becuase i fell in love with my current speed build.

ps. If you can try to also get crit rate stat on you gear. There is a aslo a crit skill in the Buff Skill tree.

 

Here use this video as a gear reference ignore the Time Warped Watch and my Stat setup its my own style i have made and it may not work for you.

 

2 ways to go:
Str>Dex>Agi
Dex>Str>Agi

Trigger Slash is a must
Spiral Air's tree is worthless
Level 1 MP Charge, 4 is too much for a non mage
Max Astute

MP Charge only need at level 1.
u dont need spiral air or sonic blade.

to start with, since you're still a newbie :

Try this, astute 10, trigger slash 10
Max all DW passive
Twin slash 10, Spinning 10
HP MP boost 10

If all done, start build battle skill
atk up 5
smash 5
crit up 10

Star from combo : Astute -> Spinning (cons) -> Twin Slash (Cons) -> trigger Slash (Cons)

if you love the play style then u can start collect spina and go pro

 

STR is a mistake for new player since they got low crit rate (can't afford expensive crit equipment) and the stab str give is so low.

For new player Dex = Agi is pretty much the best like the old days

Warmonger hat isnt expensive at all espeically a slotted one. I wouldnt stay its a mistake. Ive seen some cheap non-slotted full crit swords and armor wit +10 or +11 crit stats

 

he does have to get the latest up to date stuff, for now he can settle for the old non-slotted +10 or +11 crit gears people used to used and since no one buys them they are super cheap

 

seems you haven't see his level? have you ever experience collecting Spina from 0?

you'ra talking to someone whi hasn't reach level 70 and still have a ton of revita gift.

 

I can reset my skill trees with the book. So as far as I can tell my stats are ok so far, just don't add anymore to DEX/AGI.

To clarify my main character is lvl 65, and I have about 15k spina. And I made all those revita II's

 

okay, do u think 100k a Sword is expensive? can you afford 1.3 MiLLION spina warmorger Xtal?

 

Who said anything about xtals? He will have to settle for old non slotted gears people used to use.

cella still right lynxia.. my think dw need more info about game system, spina gain work n more exp.. u or cella or me or cyp maybe we gain +3m +5m spina (pretty sure i gain everyday +5m) every build easy for me but hes newcomer n hvnt think how..
