More buffs, less nerfs

So, all people now are talking about katana and the possible nerfs that the class maybe receive, and another nerfs...
But, the most important thing here is:
About stop nerfing the damage skills and buff the weakest classes, Why? Because toram online have a lot of Op and hard bosses that you need a full pt and a lot of time to kill because of the hard difficulty, and asobimo aways nerfs classes damage and help bosses to be more hard and more op.
Yes, katana is a little op, but why nerf? Just buff the other classes and all become balanced helping players instead of helping bosses every time.
Mages need some damage, brawler, etc...
A mage dont need to deal 1m damage per storm, isnt this, just bufffing weak classes to trully balance the game. Yeah, katana need a little nerf, but i have a big fear that they maybe break the class, hasso hapa damage is the best skill (in my opinion, is beautiful, fast and mortal, also costs 5mp and is hard to make a good combo, is the perfect skill for my play stille).
Well, now i will just whatch what asobimo will do about it...

 

First of all, asobimo is not nerfing the class they are merely correcting bugs. Other class get nerfed/boosted to be fair for the whole system. Since the "no limit" boost have to be restricted.

One class being OP kills diversity to any MMO.

 

Well, first, the high damage of hasso/zantei is a bug? I think the mp cost of hasso happa justify the damage (not all the damage, its very high, but being a 5mp skill nothing more fair than having a high damage)
Yes, a OP class kills the other classes and all the players start playing just with this, I agree with this. But, I mean, classes like dw, brawler, mages, etc... They have a low damage comparated to halberd and mononofu class (dw needs to be in level cap to be really effective with nice damage, but is weak comparated to halberd that can deal +100k per hit with strike stab for example), before samurai being released, the "Op class that all are using because have high damage" is halberd (and halberd snipe), before halberd is 1h fu, And consecutively... so, in toram aways have a main class that have more dmg than others, the game cant really be balanced (like, all classes deal the same damage), samurai need a nerf to be balanced, but just balanced, like i said, maybe they break the damage of some skill...
Higher damage classes come naturaly.

And how i said, they make stronger bosses in all new patch, nerf isn't the response for "balance the game", it just make the bosses more hard to kill. Dont need to give one million damage per snipe, or per storm, just a buff to help the weakest classes.
and, is valid to remember that, some samurais just have that op damage because of high level and expensive "pro equips".

Hasso can use a little nerf, but don't touch Zantei.
From a pure DPS standpoint, Hasso is quite freaking overpowered, as the other main DPS skills really have some 'flaws' holding them back. maybe buff the others, maybe nerf hasso, whatever. I'll take anything.

 

Nerf less, buff more.
About Mononofu Skill, some skills need adjustment, like Triple Trust buff that consumed by support skill [which is stupid].

Hasso is bugged and abused. Zantei need more damage specially if buffed by meikyo(if you hit it's great, if you missed you are basically screwed)
You can spit hasso all day even blindfolded without worrying on any reduction of damage nor it being missed.

 

Yeah.. Need a little nerf.
Oh, remembering now, sukuchi (sorry if write wrong) cancel combo tags, i think it's a bug too, like, you use a combo opener skill, zantei (save) next, sukuchi actives and cancel save tag, so you lose mp :/
Well, i love high damages, understand that a balancement here is needed, i will not delete my samurai anyway

I'm trying to figure out if anyone here actually plays Brawler.

 

As tanks, as semi-tanks, and as soloists, yes. and they are pretty good at their jobs too.

 

I'm more asking why people keep saying they suck or "need love" when i'm sure most people haven't touched the class lol.

Well, coz brawler skills are best utilized by hybrids, and if you ever take a brawler into a party, expect some rather friendly behaviour

 

because no one likes being auto-kicked as soon as someone sees your weapon

 

I played with brawler, and the damage is very low, maybe the most weak class. Have reasons to people ask more power on it.
Isn't like brawler deal just 50k dmg, but comparing to other classes, its very weak.
I love brawler, but because of the low atk I gave up.

 

You see brawlers in boss party with other players in lvl cap? Well, understand now?
If brawler really aren't a bad class, people would use it more...
A tank brawler or hybrid don't count, i mean full AGI atack brawlers.

 

Probably. It doesn't matter to Brawlers if we get buffed, or every other weapon gets nerfed though. The class isn't actually broken. It's solid, it's just that other classes are so strong that our strengths can't be utilized as well. We've got nice defenses, great proration for all types of damage, nice motion speed, decent attack, stupid amounts of diversity, and flinch/tumble/stun at the drop of a hat. The only thing we don't have are easy stat min/maxing and big bursty deeps. Things that wouldn't be a problem if damage values weren't as high and defensive values mattered more. Nerfing damage, skill speeds, cast speeds, ect, and making bosses threatening enough that other classes lack of flee, slow attack speeds, and unreliable boss control would make these bonuses valuable enough to sacrifice damage for them is the actual problem.

So if they want to buff Knuckles directly. Cool. If they want to nerf every class in the game to the point that they actually have to think about mechanics in the game. That'd also be cool. Probably better. Or just stop catering bosses to work at the 1100 aspd range and increase their pace to the point that being slow is a detriment. Either way they go about it affects Knuckle users positively though. So using them as the "Buff, don't nerf" scapegoat in the game is laughable. Because as long as they don't nerf us, it's a positive gain for us. Just sayin.

Then nerf the damage of everyone else so damage values are reasonable? it fixes things for me either way.

You could have shelled out 10 dollars on a character slot instead of quitting a class you "love". lel.

Which is also why i'm wondering if people have played the class. Most don't make it past the late 90's before jumping ship. Most people haven't even used a Knuckle in their main hand to know how "bad" the class is, let alone know what it can and can't do at cap. Or why the current meta and mechanics screw over AGI knuckle builds.

Stronger classes comes because of stronger bosses, brawler is cool to play, but the damage still being a problem no matter what you say. low damage isn't attractive, yeah, brawler have a good damage, but i think isnt suficient to solo any new boss, if can solo, it will take one year to finish.

Whatever, i don't remember abou a nerf on brawler skills, but whatever, don't make the buff less necessary, the truth is, brawler is being passed back more and more, and a buff would make the class resurface and be more popular.
