    I still buying that then. Coz my tank is built to recieve the dmg. Maybe that's why many saying RIP tanks coz any DPS can equip it too.

    I didn't see a manual ability for evasion/dodge, only that the magic warrior could move while casting.

    If you're correct, then what will happen to the actual dodge/evasion and guard passives? Are they overhauling the whole system?

    I'd say wait out, until it's released. I think a lot of this is speculation.

    The 2 button at left and right of player.
    The magic warrior and Left-hand pain series is just their testing character, it’s have no related to this 2 skill.

    I didn’t listen carefully the reason they implement this, maybe we can wait the Sarah to explain. The guard come with cooldown, thus I don’t think it’s can replace the passive guard, beside the damage reduction may depend on the VIT of the character. The avoid I just simply treat it like the katana avoid action, but it’s really nice for a Mage.

    No MP cost?! Hmmm that's interesting. Might be a nice parry skill for huge fractionals/magics to bring dmg down with a hope that sanctuary can even reduce it more further.

    Ya, good news is build without using a shield can perform parry attack now. Bad news is AGI build character getting more and more useless.....T.T
    Why Suziki hate AGI build and martial skill so much....

    Plus does the effects got a duration? Or it's like pdef only upon use? My support might have a use for that evasion to avoid auras getting removed from boss auto atks on an unexpected aggro shift tho.

    ((cries in devotion to knuckles)) well hopefully there’s a long enough cooldown or something to it. its kind of unfair if they’re allowed to do a ton of damage AND avoid attacks easily, plus have aoes that aren’t focused on them, if anything it shouldn’t have been implemented. it’s kind of unfair to just let it be there since there are a lot of other things players can complain about, like seriously, at least add a thing for converting aspd into attack or something for knucks:(

    I honestly think that agi/motion speed based roles was supposed to be a breaker. To do more of that auto atks to quickly shift proration to physical/magical. Dmg is just secondary thing for me just a bonus. New skills can produce huge amount of dmg now from auto. We can't say it can only be used just for proration. Because on a party with a DPS that uses a burst DPS skills, some skills might fell on the lower part of the charts. But it's just my own opinion. You can always discover it fo yourself and push it as far you can.

    From the video, I saw the guard got no duration, it’s depend how long your hold the guard button. Some summarize about guard from what I saw..
    1. when holding the guard player cannot move or attack
    2. The guard cooldown depend on the total second of holding the guard.
    The damage reduction is unknown because the test character def is high, guard or not only received 1 damage.

    For the avoid
    1. It’s seen like can select our own avoid directions by touching the avoid button and move pad.

    2. The cooldown depend on the what have we avoid, I saw avoid nothing/normal attack is about 3 sec CD, avoid a skill is about 5-6 sec cd.


    And don’t forget the random party member invite features, it’s seen like randomly invite the member in the same map or near to your.

    Well, that's lame. So you'll be able to charge and move?

    So what will be the point of having guard and evasion now?

    No idea...they should know this will make the existing guard and avoid become useless...

    maybe just their way of saying buy resets, shutup just give us your money and remake our sets of skills :biblethump:. although theres a high chance it will come with free :pogchamp:.

    Yeah, this is what confuses me..

    So we can say goodbye to...
    Perfect defence
    Gloria
    Guardian
    Guard skills
    Shield skills
    Shields
    Guard/evasion lines on xtals
    Buffs
    Reflex

    Definitely... A wtf moment. Why don't they just include a button to instantly kill the boss.

    If this is the case, and they're just adding these functions. I'll literally quit. If they're new skills, exclusive to a tree where their effects are influenced by guard/evasion stats. Then that's ok. But they will break the game otherwise.

    Maybe they want to restructure the toram, like remove the AGI and related stat, so knuc main stat become DEX and STR, blablablabla.....well like this will totally become another game similar to Avable online. But good news is they will give reset stat and skill free for sure.

    Don't worry about guardian and p.def. They are for aggro generation and reduction for pty members in guardian's case. A tank without them is kinda useless. Tanks will always be needed even with these new implements.

    I'm not worried about tanks and aggro. I just can't see the rationale in adding these new features. So late into the development of the game.

    How many 9yo's complained about dying to have this implemented. It just feels like they're dumbing down the combat system for the masses.

    It'll ruin my experience with Maton, when it uses the arena scaled aoe, that almost guarantees certain death if it's not interrupted in time. As I could just hit guard, and take 1 damage.... And ignore providing any form of interrupt skill, and consequences of the bosses counter.

    Hopefully this addition proves unpopular, and it dies in the corner.

    Fair point. This should earn toram the game for dummies then? :Dwhats funny is they will add pvp soon too when their players are even struggling on a programmed foes. :fail:
