The worst part is that they've warded off potential newbie and guildies doing this, not just those of us who have spent time and then some on this game. I have zero problems supporting my hobbies and investing in what I believe in and im starting to fund myself looking elsewhere.

This is like a relationship with a girl that sorta cares but doesnt really when its time to go where she gotta go looking at whats going on.

When I first got into making web and file servers for clients 20years ago it was important to make sure I had backups and not just 1 but several that mirror each other every x days. Then raid came out and changed my life so it pains me to see that they have a problem thats so big that we get a 'hang on...' rather than an over estimation on a time frame.

My guess is that they'll care monday 7am.

For those who are not aware, there was an earthquake in Japan a few days ago. It probably affected the installations where the Asobimo servers were kept, so it's just waiting for them to regain control.

 

The earthquake happened very far from Asobimo though, Asobimo are located in Tokyo while the earthquake was in Hokkaido, the earthquake seems to be unrelated. Let alone this happened a year ago as well, approximately around the same time and lasted for 3 days like now, since they don't work on weekends...

Asobimo office at Tokyo is right but this doesn’t mean their server at Tokyo office. Some company do host their server on other state due to lag of the space or to prevent disaster like earthquake. Beside, there is possible the technical team is outsource but not internal staff, the developer only take care on the games application, not the support on network and server monitoring, in fact my company at JAPAN, all IT is outsource, they occupy 1 building and 24/7 take care on server. And lastly this issues may not cause by SERVER itself, it’s possible the network issues, if this is the case then what they can do is waiting ISP to solve the problem.

 

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't complaining, but they didn't post anything about the earthquake, and it is an issue that happens regularly because of the servers being full (regardless of earthquakes) like I said it happened before. Just saying that when it did last year, they simply said that they do not work on weekends (which is understandable with them being human and all) so fixing it will srart Monday which I assume is the same case now

the earthquake WAS NOT the reason of the server blowing up. This is what I’ve collected on basically bots and tuyuls I think that’s the name have spammed international servers and thus this has pushed us off but it could be more to it

 

150 miles off the coast. Where it would have practically 0 impact on anything.

 

I don't know why people insist that the earthquake had something to do with it. Any veteran player knows these are common and are likely to happen, just need to be patient, that's all.

 

I really want to know where you all get the info regarding this crash is due to server full.

 

How long have you been playing? Like I said it happened before (I can even try to link you the thread from a year ago), after that Asobimo themselves explained it, and actually asked not to flood int 1 since it will cause crashes. Which still keeps happening.

 

the bots are were more than active players in int1.they are the reason for all of these crashes.

 

Besides, and correct me if I'm wrong here, if the earthquake did any damage, isn't it weird that only Toram got affected while the rest of the Asobimo games are still up and running?

 

I been play for about 2-3 year and I also know there is a breakdown on last time, but this doesn’t mean this breakdown is same like last year because not only INT1, other server also cannot login.

As I mention before , the office at Tokyo doesn’t mean the server is located at Tokyo as well,beside this issues can be possible cause by the ISP not he server because in Twitter I notice JAPAN server also breakdown, so you want to tell me is because of Server FULL as well? I didn’t say is related to the earthquake, I just want to know why everyone say is the Server Full cause the breakdown

 

Possible reasons why the server is down. .

>Japanese prime minister has redirected all internet traffic and electricity to test the New Wing Zero Gundam suit.
> A new season of Hunter X Hunter has been released, and this has reduced online traffic.

 

Last time English also fell even if it's always empty and int1 was the crowded server only , but fine let's wait for their updates and see then ^^

 

Does anyone know if the free restat was only for Thursday? Or was it intended to be for the rest of week?

I'm hoping that the free restat is extended cus of the shutdown.
