if the old server is corrupted and they were trying to fix that and fails for the past first days,they just need time to move the backup data of thousands of players into a newly created server and plug the cable,which i understand can take a long time (tuyuls and bots alts take up a size there)

 

Yeah i bet the population of tuyuls alone are consuming 70% of the total numbers of players. The thing i'm scared the most is our player data got rerolled one week prior to the crash. I know it is better than rolled back to nothing, but it still hurt in some kind of ways.

 

yeap,4 years worth of players data transfer isn't going to be a fast job,not with tuyuls and bots alts.

 

Restoration work does not guarantee that we be up and going after maintenance. Double or triple maintenance may happen just to fix the buggy rush job. We can only be patient and hope for the best results at shortest amount of lost time.

 

I heard a rumor, that some players hacked the toram system to edit their character stats to match a GM's acct that caused this error. Dont know if it's true though.

Not allkill, they said character stats to make their characters stronger like a gm acct.
But I think it's just their theory.
Because if that were the cause, it will be detected easily right?

Who would want to hack a bot overflowed game from year 2015...meh.
The server didnt handle the load/or provider sent assobimo to gtfo because of constant loads caused by unoptimized game & lots of bots.
Every time you switch the map, app requests huge chunks of info from server, now imagine 10k players doing this...
They shouldve implemented that data in the client like most game developers do (it would be a 1.5Gb client, but then the server wouldnt go overload)

 

Yeah. Just one player data won't cause this entire problem.

 

That is only if you move to new maps. Once that done, whenever you move to maps you have been visited, you don't need to download a huge data anymore. My Toram's data size is almost 2GB now.

 

Idk, mine is at ~500Mb, didnt check it before erasing data, but it loads long af every time you switch a map, so it does require a lot of info from server anyway. Thats why i left this game in 2017, because that waiting time was killing meh >.<

I just hope the game will return to normal.
This is such a promising game after all.

I'm going to pissed if I have to start over especially since a whole week into me subscribing I hate my time to be wasted bor my money and for a whole to go by i can understand that first weekend cause they don't work or whatever but for it to go on this long and for the Japanese servers to still be up is ridiculous I'm really curious on how they plan to compensate I really just want to play the game but I also want my time to be valued equally

 

Gee, stop the panic on account loss everyone. If there was a rollback, or an entire reset, it would be stated in the notes. They're not just going to let you log in the game for you to discover it yourselves.

I also want to point out that explicitly stating reasons for server downtime can pose a risk to security and other numerous affairs, especially while they're concurrently in the process of fixing it. They have given updates throughout the week, be thankful for that at least. The initial update recognizing the sever is down. Another update stating they are not sure when it will be solved. Another update as seen in this thread.

 

I just hope that they would give proper compensations to players with subscription. All those missed avatar tickets and duration that didnt got used.

 

THIS. But sadly selecting and separating paying players from free players will just give them extra works, so they will just give average compensation for all.

Welp, atleast the best compensation is still fixing the game quickly.
