Ore for refining

Not many people have money to buy ores from player or are there are players who are always selling ore when you need it. So lets make a list for ore farm.

Hematite - From eerie crystal. Before it was said that piedra gobs in rinom or ribisco cave drop hematites. But as far as my experience go, they don't drop it now. Maybe it was patched or something.

Iron - Synth from 10 hematite.

Damascus ore - From minotaur

Damascus steel - Synth from 10 damascus ore

Mythril ore - ???

Mythril steel - 10 Damasc ore

Orichalcum ore?

 

i heard BD Dragon drops Mithril Ore
Maybe only the Pieda from wandering camps drop hemantite
Ores can also be bought from sololo

 

I fought bd too many times and hadnt dropped a single Mythril.

 

Tortagu drop Damascus ore.

 

Good hematite place is Debacky Channel down the ramp with blue jelly (in same room as silver roar) Drops from ruin rats - good place for small hilt & small gloves farming as well

 

How does ore effect the process of refinement? Is it the better the ore the better chances of it working? Or the better stats?

 

Better chances. Stats are the the same wether you refine up to +5 using hematite or mithril.

 

Both Mythril Steel and Damascus Steel can be synthesized from 10 Damascus Ore? Isnt't Mythril Steel higher quality then Damascus Steel?

 

You can acquire Damascos Ore from stone warriors in Tantarus cave.
Hematite i have a lot, because of killing eerie for the armor (still didn't get it after more than 1000 kills).
The other ores are a mystery to me, i don't now how to acquire then.

 

You can also acquire damascus ore from fin frog in Haotas Ravine, I've got a lot from there.

 

there are also ores which can be found in the guild maze:

fine iron
fine mithril
fine damascus

 

Also, fine ori, albeit rare.

 

I got to floor 900 and only obtained 2 fine ori. Is this the only way to farm for it?

 

I think that might be bad luck, I believe I got 3 from 500~ floors. Yes, unless you want to recycle avatars xD.

Mythril Ore can be obtained via Daily Stamp Rally.
Iron is also a rare drop by Soldier Rats at Scaro Town. ( a place whose existence I think people forgot)

Also, Original Post needs to be corrected. It is called just 'Mythril', and you can synthesize 10 Mythril Ores to make 1.

 

How about Irons? is it only obtainable via crafting for the meantime?

I discovered that this week by chance
