I do not see an "edit" button on the gray bar. Only a "watch page" button.

HEE? Rage Sword doesn't increase aggro!? seriously ?
But its description contains improve aggro...

    Anyway Question...
    How about combo?
For example simple TKICK 100mp Combo Astute -> Trigger Slash (Safe) -> Tkick(Smith) -> Hard Hit (Cons)
    Will it be calculated as (100 + 300 + 300 + 100) x 20?
    or just 100 x 20?

What about DW Normal attack? is it 10 x 6 hit = 60 aggro per normal?

Aggro is calculated per skill used, not per total actual consumption of mana.

A normal dw attack is considered 3 attacks in one animation, so it stands to reason that each dw auto is worth 30 aggro points

How does gear with aggro% figure into these calculations?
Is the only way to maintain aggro to keep spamming Provoke?

Trying to figure out how to improve my chances of holding aggro.

Gear with aggro% is multiplied for the total aggro gain. You can also do it per skill, but the additional aggro is the same, whether you calculate per skill, or in total.

Hi Caskadia, does skill impact reduce aggro? impact > tempest, tempest will cause 200 aggro or 400 aggro?

Impact causes 200 aggro. And does not reduce aggro.

I have not tested this, but I will. My gut feeling says that the impact-affected will create aggro equivalent to what it currently costs. IE: a lv10 tempest with impact-buff will cause 400 aggro, instead of 600.

I think provoke is useless tbh, I can maintain aggro with just spamming skill ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭, I dont know if rage sword is useful tho. By skill causing buff, you said that the aggro generated by it is according to mp consumption, so do u mean that the aggro generated by support skill tree will be lower compared to skill used by equips (mp consumption + skill lvl × 20)? I often get tank and support rank tbh, with support skill tree (๑• . •๑) ?? It should be an exception to this formula that support skill like blessing, gloria, brave aura, etc generate more aggro than skills that require certain equipments '-')? I only use support skill (blessing and gloria) and I can maintain the aggro quite long by just running around

No, the amount of aggro a skill creates is based on the original amount it would cost to use it, regardless if a mana-reducing buff is applied.

I have to say skill lvl doesnt add extra agro, it only applies to provoke and rage sword as i said before, just tested with a second device, lvl 1 arrow used first in battle with no agro gear, first hit plus arrow 200agro points, 2nd attack from my 2h, hard hit with +52% agro gear, if skill rank increased agro it wouldve been 450+, i did not gain agro which must mean the total agro generated was less than 200, so 152, provoke and rage sword are unique because they have that mechanic when u rank them up, rage sword would be pointless if all skills did the same as it, because u can just use another 2mp skill and probs do more dmg than rage sword with same agro, but rank doesnt add to agro if its not them skills, also skills that were 400mp but when u rank them up they cost lower mp etc that skill will continue to generate 400 agro points

Also just tested, buffs only gain agro if uve attacked the boss already, if ur weapon isnt out and u use buffs u wont gain agro, tho the aura buffs may be diffirent, tested with reflex, flash blast and sanctuary, all gain agro only when uve attacked already

Well... Base on my experience on Super aggro test with exactly same build friend.... (i have hero scarf so my aggro is 10% more)
the first attack always hold the aggro till the end... for 20x we tried it... then another friend of mine try to attack first, then we try to race aggro and i always win...
So i'll really conclude that first attack has bonus effect on aggro....

I also conclude that stumble and stun has their own aggro boost on my experience...

If you look at my guide, you'll see that I already pointed out that certain skills have fixed aggro. Both of the skills you tested with are the fixed aggro ones, Magic:Arrows and Hard Hit. It doesn't matter what level they are, they will still create the same amount of aggro. You've basically just reconfirmed what I already said.

The aggro formula is most definitely true, and the formulas I've listed still apply to their specific skills. Sword and Shot skills go under the formula of (mp consumption + [skill lv x 20]), non-weapon based skills go under (mp consumption), and of course, provoke/sneak have their own specific formulas that I'm sure you know already.

As for skills that lower in mp consumption, I will go and argue with you that they do affect the amount of aggro. As an example, the shield buffs, both protection and aegis, both change their amount of aggro based on if you're wielding a shield or not. They can either do 300 or 100 aggro.
