can u tell me what gear + xtal u used in the gunfu vs swordfu video ?

also, which equipment set is the highest dps ? short range dmg equipment set or crafted equipment set ? or maybe a mix of both ?

I always use this:

- Light element EBG with Damage to Dark +10%, Critical Rate+10 and ATK+7%, with Ganglef and Pillar Golem
- B.B. Garb with Roga
- War Helmet with Warmonger
- Dexterity Talisman II with Nurethoth

Because it is the only equipment I have. I still haven't tried out the new c101010 gears, but doing the math they aren't that good.

 

Next time we do roga hard at my play ground ^_^ since we did it at yours

Yes we can do it. Note that I don't have Aggro % equipments. I'll be online after MT is done.

I can't disclose all my secrets as why I use that specific setting (the reason isn't related with T.Kick), the builds I post are always a "base" for everyone to use and if they want to tweak it too. I always use a modified version which I don't publish. I already gave gear alternatives for everyone to try and choose from.

About my armor, I use Light Armor because I like the light version appearance of the BB Garb lol, but I didn't level the passive skill. I'm planning to go for Heavy Armor Mastery because as my personal build doesn't have VIT I will be needing at least some DEF to stop raising my death count (I actually have more than 2050 Defeats, talk about glass cannon haha).

Thoughts on incorporating the new shell break into the combo? (infinite mana yay...)
I personally like using bow-guy's combo variant:
meoba=> smoke(save) => impact(consec) => snipe(smite) => smash(consec) => tkick(swift)

wonderin how well the shell break wud do at replacing the smash, idea behind it is to make use of the guard break and deliver some heavier kicks in place of the flinch

Anyone got info on what the rates are of guard break at lvl1 shell break (with knucks ofc), if leveling the skill effects the rate and how fast is the motion speed/animation relative to smash?

lemme know if u guys get around to it, too poor test stuff out on my char lol

 

Guard Break infliction rate really changes from Lv1 to Lv10. The skill isn't as fast as Smash, it feels close to Sonic Wave's animation speed, just some milliseconds longer. I'm still thinking if incorporate it or not. Before making a decision I test some variables and compare combo outputs, then conclude if it is worth. I'm currently busy, It'll need a few days.

don't really need it to do damage, its the 400mp regen when it procs as well as the increase dmg on next skill that really matters since consec would be used with it anyway. If it hardly procs then thats another story

 

so, to inflict guard break using shell break, u need the boss to use guard first ? or u can just inflict guard break right away ?

 

inflicts right away if it succeeds

 

IMO this skill is very worth getting, i have a md device mage with shell break lvl5- at roga guard break proced atleast 1/3 combos. so every 3 combos 400mp is great. with md +25% chance to proc and knucks sub +50%. so should be great for fu users lvl10.

ill test with knucks sub on my breaker mage i got shell break at lvl 10. if the skill procs often on most bosses; then Quick draw and sober analysis might(big might ) not even be needed anymore. cos we have to regain 400mp by atleast thr 4th combo already

mm true true, was thinking that too but the rate at which shell break proc will determine this for sure lol
