Yeah, I was just trying to explain him how it works. Guess that's also a big fail.

 

The reason i said Spinning Slash Prorates more depending on the number of hits is because its implementation is different from tempest and storm, which sucks in the enemy, different from spinning Slash which knocks back the enemy.
It prorates more, based on my observation when the boss is hit with the full 15 ticks rather than a part of it. Since unlike storm and Tempest which fluctuate in damage throughout the ticks, spinning slash doesnt. Although you can see fluctuations in sets of 5, it is calculated at the start of the skill, not through out the skill.

I have tried and tested this multiple times. Seeing the difference of getting hit by the initial hit only, initial hit + few ticks, initial + half of the ticks and initial + all of the ticks. Damage after doing so increases as the number of ticks hit increases.

me, starlord and BK. believe in the same thing, it doesnt prorates 16x , i believe it only prorate 1x just like storm/tempest, or like starlord said maybe 2 at most, because spinning slash have initial hit, and DoT ticks.

hmm, for multi-hits skill, i also believe it only prorate 1 time.

 

Simple solution on debate of proration would be to just test it out yourself to see how it works or if you like how the build works or read more on comments regarding to proration. (You'd probably think - oh boy that's a lot of work and time consuming lol. You'll eventually have to apply what you read and have to test it out yourself if you like it or not. What you read on here may or may not be true or may not meet your expectations. When unsure of the outcome and ur doubting others comments, observing it urself solves that problem. ^^ I usually just use a character - that isn't my main as a test dummy.)

Yeah, I made a mistake. I even acknowledged it. And while I certainly have to get better on that front, you sir need to learn a thing or two about respect.
I try to help with my knowledge (wrong and limited of course), and you're just telling me to shut the hell up with that first sentence. That isn't very nice, if you ask me.

You must have misunderstood my point, and I apologize for making it sound wrong.
I was blaming myself for not being able to explain what I knew (which was wrong) to you. You show a good level of understanding in the matter and I wasn't questioning it, just bashing myself for being a bad "teacher", so to speak.

Really sorry to ask a stupid question. But I am having trouble with survival skills. Do I need to make HP Boost lvl 10 and safe rest lvl 5 and fighter high lvl 1?

 

Not really, but since skills need to be level 5 to get the next skill, you get lvl 5 safe rest, and max HP Boost gives around 1k HP. Whic is a huge help

 

Do u learn Mp Boost?? Warrior Bangle only +100mp

 

Warrior Bangle gives no MP, only 100 HP.
I didnt get MP boost. Only use MP xtals and Magic Scarf for MP.
