I don't really remember when did I first playing toram. It feels like two years ago but I saw toram had just celebrated its first anniversary so yeah. Maybe it was last year lol I'm not sure bc I have a bad memory. I used to play iruna before but then I quit bc it took a lot of data. Then I installed avabel bc the graphics looks so interesting. I'm a solo player and never join any guild bc I don't really trust them lol. I quit avabel when I was lvl 75 (if I'm not mistaken I advanced to lost speller that time)

So I take a look at MMORPG on playstore and I found Toram Online. Since it was on the top of the list so I thought it should be a good game. Guess it was really a good one. I spent over half an hour just to select my appearance lol. My first character is a swordman. I usually chose a mage class in other game that I play so I want to try a new class in toram, that's what I think (still don't know that let you choose any class freely on that time). I messed up with the stats and yeah i started to think that I cant play as a solo player in this game. I was invited into a guild. It was a good guild actually.. but I've been kicked out since I didn't played for a few months (I was in a middle school that time and study like hell to pass an exam that's why I stopped playing for awhile)

I come back this year (I'm in a high school right now lol) and I started to understand about this game. I change my first character to a mage (my main character now) and doing the mq until ancient empress. I'm still playing as a solo player since I've been kicked out from my former guild. The empress was too strong for me and I accidentally met this one guy. He helped me to do the mq until defeat that one called berserker and I continued finish the other by party with random people. The last time we fought together when the mq at dark elf (she's damn strong).

I'm glad that I joined my current guild. Most of them are already in level 100. I feel like I'm the one who still haven't caught up but they always there when I need them. Sorry if this is too long and my broken grammar. Just sharing my experience. Have a nice day btw

 

I the great iyasuna shall tell my tale!

It all started when i was 12 i played iruna always and it was the best game in the world (i didnt have console games back then dont judge xD) Thus becoming embraced in the mmo experience in 2014 there was alpha tests for a game called toram online. I had heard alot about it while playing iruna and how not many people got to play the pre alpha etc etc but then i figured out why. It was because the game only had its servers up from 4am-10am each day so if you wanted to play toram you had to be up at those times. So i had a alarm clock and did that almost every day basically! Toram eventually went 24/7 and about a year later there was a event, which a dragon came and destroyed our precious town, rugio. Thus ending the alpha test. When beta went up about a month later our town is now known as rugio ruins which is a destroyed version of it, and sofya which was a capital in iruna is now the home city of toram! And thats where my adventure restarted.

Now im just a ghost of potum, never to be seen but heard (i havent been that active p.p im sorry guys)

I started playing during the 8 day Pre Alpha in June 2014 as a Mage I made it to lvl 69. Blast had a 0.6 second cooldown then. Blast was nerfed to a very long skill delay so I decided to switch to Archer class.The game shut down for a brief period of time and all progress was deleted.

I then played during Alpha and made it to lvl 86 as an Archer. I also had a 1h swordie just for farming Kaiser. When Alpha ended they deleted all progress again(Except for a few Emblems, playtime, and distance travelled).

I started again during Beta, but I lost the will to play for a very long time after being aggravated by server wipes.

After an extremely long hiatus I am back and now play as a Mage(Lvl 77)and an Archer(Lvl 75).

The game is finally fun again so I will be returning pretty much full time

 

Wow, many Alpha and Beta testers here. I didn't know the feeling in either of them, I just watched their walkthroughs on YouTube. Yet, making a char. and was deleted over and over again? May be, I couldn't stand it lol. Well, thanks for sharing.

 

Perhaps I'll join, though panty shots in toram is like a free thing when you jump. Lol. ^_^

 

Interesting back stories *__* Mine's gonna be long (and somewhat boring) but here goes:

I discovered this game by accident last Feb '16 while trying several other games that can distract me from my addiction in Implosion: Never Lose Hope I started off as a swordie, saw some mages floating around and when I got a magi klug from exploring some side quests, I made a mage character. It was a golden potum event during the time I started and I regret not trying out killing the golden potums because I was too intimidated with their level 100 + I didn't know it was an event until it ended XD

Got invited in a guild but found the GM too egotistic so I left. A cool friend in IG adopted me in their guild, then some sniper friends inspired me to make a sniper character. After a few months, I decided to try out other characters: alchemist, blacksmith, dual-wield, and the latest now, full vit tank. Had some misunderstanding in my 2nd guild, so my bf and I decided to make our own guild for chillin'. The misunderstanding was gone and everything's back to normal, so our friends in the 2nd guild and a few more friends joined ours x3

I got addicted collecting armors in the game and it became my main goal lol! After that, my ultimate goal was to have a complete avatar set (other than the celebration set lol). Still thinking about making a Toram Fashion Blog XDDDD

Decided to minimize my addicition in this game (no more 5hrs+ a day lol!), so I usually just login for the the daily bonus + ticket pieces (sometimes potum darts if I remember it lol), level up a bit, collect event items, and play with my bf and guild friends :3 I need to budget my time more so I can also play Minecraft & Pokemon Go with themXD

Sorry if it turns out to be a boring story XD. Toram is my first MMO's, I found it after I searched around Playstore for games. I had two irl friends who joined me playing, but retired in a short time. I was alone as a total noob. Messed up my build many times, reset, remade, and all sort of things that a new player of MMO would probably do. I used to play as a SnS user, then changed to a dual wielder. Dw and may be brawler were excluded that time since 2hnd and mage (with sniper came up as well) were roaming the top builds. Players rarely accepted me in their party, I was kicked for three times by them and left many times by myself after being underestimated. I started to dislike this kind of hierarchy and plan to end the game. The situation became more troublesome when I joined an "offline" guild. No active players, no advice, no difference, I chose to leave as a solo again. One day, during the mission against Decel, I met two friends I mentioned b4 and they helped me finishing my mq up to Empress (the latest update that time) and changed my mind. Suddenly, they became inactive. May be quit. Here I was alone again. Then I joined many guilds, one of them was the best guild I've ever joined, only with an outcome as a solo again. Afterward, I took hiatus for one or two months since I had a lot of mock tests to do and examinations irl. When I got back (Hanami T T was over), I started to rebuild my progress. I re-searched threads in forums (I trully appreciate their works) and tried multiple builds at once. Finding a substitute for my ori. char. I have a bad luck, so I fought with standard gears. I found that dw is my passion and I use it until now along with my ori. char. I use a mage too in most cases until my dw is revived. Through the progress, I also met with new friends here and there. Then I joined the forum, and met with all of you here

Coool~~~ I like the idea of dw but when i tried it didn't suit me that well...well I still use dw sometime (my sword build has duel wielding skill lv1 xp)
Currently I'm into breaker (love to see bosses being guard break, flinch, tumble, stun, and lethargy lol)

 

I love the fact that though at first your story was sad, it turned out ok later on ^^ I screwed up my build also many times (actually my DW build is messed up atm bec I have gone full Str since I wanted it to be able to switch to 2H and sword/staff fu sometimes, kinda like a flexy build, but in reality, I dunno what I'm doingXD) But we "dust them all off, and try again"

 

Sword and Shield or Knight or Paladin some cases.

Players tend to make a sword fu now. This is the era of hybrids in Toram Online. They give more benefits regarding damage output and perhaps survivability in battle when you can ohK(one hit kill) XD or tanking.

I must say that, in my opinion, DW is a complex build with many possibilities just like other builds. Thanks God Toram gives us freedom to explore outside the boundary of classes. With this freedom as well, it's difficult to make a successful build in one or two tries. I faced it and failed. Just try again, and ask if we don't know about something. Well about the story, I'm glad that I have such experiences. Even though it's a a game, the main logic is resembling the real act itself. I hope you enjoy the game, and thanks for sharing

 

Oh? Similar build there... mine is 2h sword build which is very agile (after str 200 i stared add agi like 1:1 with str) i can use 1h and dw as well....(if you put in dex instead agi, it will turn out what you want x3)

I started as hybrid even ppl say pure is better when I was new in Toram (I saw potential) I was once planned to build weapon master (all combat skill: sword, magic, shot, martial, duel wield skills with str, dex, int, agi stat increase) but didn't even tried that... I think we cam exclude agi from there and I think if someone make that character, in future updates it will be somewhat OP
It's main might be 1h sword with sub as arrow or 1h sword (for swiching shot and dw)

 

All my characters are hybrids if you look at my siggy (gunblade has great dps; my tank is magical, physical def with high matk due to int vit 1:1 stat)

 

Oooh interesting, I might start using 2H sword then for now until I'm able to add Dex in my stat so I won't embarrass the DW class with my lame dancey dancey fight XDDD
