Storm damage, weaker when hit second times

I got a strange damage when I cast storm, i use three different stuff and the result are same. In my picture I was cast my storm to silver roar, and the damage was very surprising me.
First hit I got a damage around 2k+ but when I hit again the silver roar my damage down to 50%. I try over and over, but the results are same.
If silver roar in guard position I wasn't surprise, but there was no guard remark.
Is anyone here got the same case with me?

proration? when u use same type of attack(magical, physical) continuously , it will decrease your damage

 

Because the mobs already bored with that attack, so use the other atk... =・3・=

 

I also noticed that you are not using a combo, take advantage of it and use a smited storm. ^_^

Yes, combo make you stronger.
My friend ask me the same question, so I try too, and I found out that I got the same case as he had.
I want to know why that happen.
