Weapon of Choice During an Apocalypse: An automatic rifle. It's useful for both intimidation and to not get yourself killed. (Or if any weapon is permitted: Ea (Fate Franchise)*. Nuff' said.)
*For the people too afraid of Fate spoilers (Or too lazy to read the wiki), Ea is so powerful that it even outclasses Excalibur (Sword of Promised Victory) which is considered one of the most powerful Noble Phantasms, and is classified as an Anti-World Noble Phantasm, which means it has the capability to destroy worlds. Only thing that is able to survive Ea (Enuma Elish, (the name of Ea's attack) at maximum output) is Avalon (The sheathe of Excalibur), or basically what is known as 'plot armor' in Fate.
Seriously, Avalon gives partial INVINCIBILITY to the user, with enhanced regeneration.
And everybody knows you can't beat invincibility.
