Question about Dyes.

uhm, where can I get Black Dye? Also, what letter dye colors the white sleeves of the light killer coat? And where can I get the black dye for it? Oh and Red dye for add too! Sorry, I've searched the net and I couldn't find any exact mob/boss that drops them.

 

Black dye A is an event dye and black b (dark grey) from ex golem and black c from caspy with Blue b , killer coat white color is C so use black c FROM caspy , red add = red A from red slime , red b from nightmare roars

Ooh. So I don't really need the black dye A at the moment. Thank you very much for the info. I'm fairly new to the more detailed parts of the game like dyeing. So I'm gonna have to farm Caspy and red slimes.... I think. The main color of Brutal Dragon cloak is A, right? Or am I getting this letters confused? Thank you again! ^^

A usually colours the outer parts of armor, like plates and stuff.
B colours the 2nd layer, like the leather/cloth between the plates or the shirt under the cloak. it becomes more visible on light armor.
C dyes the ornaments, it becomes more visible on heavy armor.

it's the same for add gear, although not every add gear has a C part and some have a very small A part.
C dye for add gear is only from events (for now).
A and B dye comes from jellies (A) and roars (B) of the respective colour.
the only exception is the roar in ruined temple, it has the mage rod instead of dye. and white hound also has white A just like white jelly does.

From this, I'm thinking the Killer Coat sleeves (light version) is Dye B? The white sleeves, that is.

Killer Coat Light? A is the pants, B is the vest and C are the sleeves.

Also, Excavated Golem drops no armor dye, since it is the second boss you face at the Main Quest but Ruin Golem DOES drops Light Gray A and Dark Grey B Fightwear.

Wait, Red additional B is from Nightmare Roars? They only seem to drop the purple headbands.

Thanks for all the answers guys. I'm gonna hunt for the add dyes first coz I'm still having a tough time beating a Caspy even at 95. Weapons are still subpar so I'll work on that first I guess.
