What build should i choose? I need advice

Hello thanks for clicking on this thread to help me . I already have an ultimate sniper and that is my only dps character. I have a free character slot and i am thinking of making another dps character to fight in situations where my sniper may not be so useful in for example during solo runs and when I am in a party full of other players that dish out high physical damage which will lower my snipe output. I have settled on either a 2 handed swordsman or a sword fu build. Which is cheaper and better at taking ranks? I need some advice. Thanks in advance

cheaper=1h fu i think

better at taking ranks=depends on ur build+gears+ur pt
im having a free char slot too and for me im going 2h
^but either way u can make ur 2h a 'fu' by equipping a 1h and get brawler skills
^same for making ur 1h fu a 2h by getting tempest etc

 

Hmmm.. If both are at cheap gears.. 1h fu wins easily. Can easily take the ranks.

But alot 2h always have insane gears.. Even if they are not using strong gears.. They are still pretty strong if build right. Sword fu is easier to build since it very similar to 2h stats build and mp consumption and motion speed seem to be better.

A insane geared 2h vs a insane geared swordfu, my money is on that 2h.

But a average geared.. 1h fu hands down.

whatever u feel comfortable with.
There is no use in playing a op class if u get bored with it easily

Read the builds in character classes thread and choose whatever suits your playstyle. There are many tips and hints on each thread.

there are actally unused gear for 2h like flamberge and fortis whch have pierce% stats that go well vs. tough def bosses
desert anfel, a high stab% 2h with unsheathe might be useful for flash blast builds...

as for 1h, because of the newest BK sword, it becomes very easy to set a decent build off dropped 1h swords too

 

I don't know if this is off topic but u should wait for spear

 

Make a mage. If snipe don't work storm is the next best thing

 

Make mage to farm NC to supply any future builds

 

I think u need to build a mage..... when ur party can't prorate for you means ur party is full of physical attacker, you should use mage to tkae that advantage lol

 

I agree with you hahaha, I currently have a lvl 85 sniper and for months that I've been playing I never encountered with a crysta, then I am always bored playing using my sniper, it can kill the boss easily tho, but I am not enjoying it, maybe nuke is not my playstyle, I'd even try mage, but I just dont like magic/ ability power stuffs hahaha. Im still in the quesy for finding the best class that is suited for me lolol
