Im pretty sure that calculations on astute buff on 2h is wrong. Coz i would get 100% (or maybe it capped at 95%) crit rate. In that case, I would never had any white dmg with my test. i did so many boss fight alone and your number won't be right. Base chance can never be 25%. If base chance was 25% i wont miss forestia that much(not to forget my gear have a total of 15% crit rate, that would be 40% and with astute i would have 65%!!!!). lol. again tested. I reset my stats and skills so many times. I tried pure str. went terrible against forestia. So i tried 45 pts into crit. works wonder. I wonder if i go lower would it be better. So after doing so much research. i came to a conclusion that every 3 pts in crit is 1 rate. What i would need is 10 rate from that stats.

Every 8 pts in str gives 1crit rate. every 3 pts in crit give 1 rate. 3.5pts = 1 rate sound pretty right.. every 3 str give 1 atk speed.

What i am sharing is based on tests, researchs, money and efforts. Dont bash me unnecessary. lol. Im sharing as much infos as possible.

So not only dex who give the extra critical chance? That will make sense now.
Anyway, I am not bash you. I'm just comparing with my current information I had. Because, I don't have that much effort to test by myself.
But, still, if your calculation was right. How about lvl1 character without stat distributed had the % of critical chance?

It really depends on your whole equipment, if you got Fluffy Tail + Gs Xtal and forest wolf garb ur aspd will be around 950 without bd sword, imo this is to less so i rather use bd sword to get 1050-1150 (i know you will get more but this are the necessairy numbers to gain) aspd. When you will be able to hold 1050 aspd with fluffy tail + gs and no agi/aspd sword i will stop using bd sword.

 

I have 650 aspd after ha xtal. With a potion I can hit 1.15k aspd. So even with a strong 2h I'm super fast and don't have to scarfice slots or items for speed. It's a spina burner but it's the ultimate dps imo

 

U point out a very interesting point. The question is, whether our base crit rate is really 5%? I would try it once i get home. I would need find a boss that dont hit like too hard. So i can note thing down without dying. I salute whoever tested on forestia using lvl1 char. Lol. Would get back to this guide for the test.

Meanwhile, i believe iruna stats is applied to this game (or else how would critical hit won't miss in that game and in this game.. So many similarities)
