Dagger and Shield skill lvl4

What if it affects only other people in your party

 

Possible to test if there's any difference for no. Of ppl standing in the aoe, or no. Of party members? (I'm not yet 110 )

The first mention of this skill was in the game deet post which also said that the effect is increased with higher refines and more ppl.

BTW the counter atk dmg is dependent on our atk? Or dmg taken? Or something else?

 

is mail break proc rate or it ignores % def right away?
is there any special effect to know if it procs?(if its proc based)

 

Alright... I tested it with my friend
Aggro boost and guard boost/atk nerf acts on the caster
While dmg reduction works only on pt members
The increased guard rate made me feel as if it reduced dmg
Around 50-60% reduction on dmg my friend got around 339dmg without buff and 149dmg from gs final with buff my shield refined +C
Also the icon for guardian appears on his screen but he cant see the yellow ring
This truly is a skill for a pure tanker its kinda useless if u wanna solo

I am still gonna hope its a bug and they resolve it later

Did u measure it as 5m i think its around 8m at lvl10

Details about guard strike:-
100% activation chance if u guard an atk
Dmg increases based on guard power and refine on shield
Personal highest 3.5k marble shield drop(20% gp) +C refine on a lvl1 char lvl10 skill
Considered as a physical atk(can miss/crt)
Can be prorated
Affected by cdmg(useless for drillz user)
Yet to test about guard strike:-
Dmg increase by any stat e.g. def/atk?
Does it do same dmg on all bosses regardless of their def?

 

Aggro boost is never useless for a pure tank
And their are many bosses with a larger aoe(scrader,sg,jade,nure,yelb just to name a few)
Also with it a brawler tank can finally add hs on a 1mp combo with lethargy u can reduce your dmg even more

 

I thought hidden arm did fixed DMG and was unaffected by def to begin with how does this work???

 

it has a fixed minimum damage equal to the dagger's atk stat.
it does more damage if you have high atk yourself.
the fixed minimum damage is probably from Intense Knive, which also raises the proc rate to 100%.
so this skill now increases maximum damage by taking away the monsters defense.

Oh that sounds promising. Imagine power wave plus hidden arm intensive knife on a staff plus dagger

 

Both mail breaker and guardian are tempting for me. Perhaps on the right moment, I'll choose one between the two. ^_^

Be Slow and steady with a shield.
