Is the event boss permanent?

I noticed that it said that the maps will stay, but what about the boss; since the armor can't be created nor is there weapons e.g. from it in the blacksmith.

 

Its permanent, only the level selection before you enter is the temporary

 

So do you think that that will effect drop rate after the event?

 

The drop rate has nothing to do with the event.

 

Me thinks it will be on hard mode when the event is over. So goodbye easy 90k exp on balls.

after the event, only the highest difficulty will be available since this is the normal version.
the chests will probably also disappear.
the recipes may or may not be available at the blacksmith eventually.
previous bosses are first in line

They are a common drop from Skeletons

Also,
Skeletons are Dark element with 3500ish hp.
Most parties are forming on a roof to the left. Too get there. Enter the map. Go forward through the castle hut with the chest. Go through it and then take the left before the door. Keep going forward and you'll hit the skeletom spawn there.

Personally prefer the first spawn of skeletons myself. Since standing at the first door continuously spawns skeletons if you look into the hut. It also allows easier vision of break points for Domination times. Either spot is fine though and both work out, even if your party decides to split positions.

 

Wouldn't nightmare crystals still be better though, 300,000 XP compared to 270,000 XP although it would seem better to get the iron balls for stacks to keep getting 270,000 XP for example: 5 stack nightmare crystals: 1,500,000 XP and 5 stack iron balls: 270,000 = 1,350,000. In comparison of speed that depends upon the party, so the whole dependency would be the party if it is strong/weak and if they are stormers or not. Mostly everyone at nightmare roars are storm so the chances of that being faster are higher because not everyone in Solfini are likely to be a magic class. That leaves us with comparison of drop rate, iron balls drop nearly the same as nightmare crystals, but a little faster so the best choice would depend upon the party you go in or make. Which if you are in a party of 100 all storm in Empress Tomb then you would get better XP from the nc's and if you are in a party of level 30-70 at skeletons you get less than you would crystals. Vice-verca.

Huge iron ball has better drop rate vs NC
Also you get mat box which makes up the 30k exp

Ofc you need to tap 3 times instead of 1 XD

 

Besides, after the event you will find these balls back at saham. Which is a bit pain to farm, better enjoy it while it lasts.

 

How do you know they won't be there after the event though because the maps will stay except for the relics map where you hang the stockings and the level categories in solfini.

 

If the level categories are gone. They said the highest level is the one that will stay it is the lvl70-90. The Huge Iron Balls drops at lvl50-70 so it will gone after the level categories & event end.

 

Have you tried getting them on level 70-90 by chance?

 

The items are replaced with Old Helm, Dead's Bone, Katar (Knuckle), and another source of wood material.

 

I got Albero Shield and Scimitar from skeletons in 50-70
