2H or Halberd?

There are many threads about this and I am really curious which is better from the two. Can somebody elaborate which is better and why? and what build they're using?

 

Halberd , because it's fun , op , fast
My build is spear with arrow spammer type

 

to get things out of the way, both 2h and halberd hit hard, will make excellent DPS builds. this is the differences I noticed
Halberd:
-moderately fast autos
-arrow/dagger sub
-main DPS is strike stab
-tends to suffer a lot of misses when crit rate is low, and you lack punish ray
- dagger halberds can have a lot of evasiveness, while arrow have raw DPS
2h:
-astute gives+50% crit
-main DPS is tempest
-has trigger slash to aid AMPR
-no subs

 

what do you do about the halberd's misses?

 

So easy crit = no miss

 

if you are saying this based on what I said about halberd missing, I said when crit rate is low. punish ray or crit gears can deal with it

 

So there really is no problem with being a halberd if you have good equipts. Punish ray SP can be used for others. and so the winner for this is HALBERD > 2H?

 

2H will always be winner for me; there IS no best class... It just depends on what class you like or what you would prove to be a fun class...I am not saying something like hexa stat is good or anything; but if you find that funnyl sure go for it!

Basically: best class is pure bs; The best DPS is the best at DPS (obviously)

But is it good at tanking???? I doubt it....

It also depends on how you look to the situation

But then again: no best class; all classes are OP in their own way

 

this is too true. and also, stat distribution and equips can make the same class vary too

Your Class Guide is indeed very top-notch; but you definitely aren't a fan of one stat builds aren't you

 

I'm not so sure that halberd is as OP as everyone says it is. I rarely ever get even second place in attacker ranking and i have very good equips on my halberd with a good combo setup for Strike Stab. I don't think halberd do so well in pts in comparision to solo and im thinking about switching to another class

 

Well it already kind of has been shown that once the proration is gone with all the spammers strike stab just doesn't hit that hard apparently

As for me 2h still stays strong; especially with the new update coming up

 

That's the biggest problem I have. Solo I usually hit 25k+ on each strike stab hit but in pts the damage is absolutely horrid! Its frustrates me to the point where i don't even wanna play the class anymore

 

halberd is the scariest class i pt with , there i realized halberd >>> All

nope , maybe u havent reached the max potential of halberd yet , i saw lots of hal user so i can understand ur point , hal is just op in good hands

 

Lvl 112 1746 attk good crit rate and i use groots strike stab sabotage build so im not sure what the problem is

 

Instead of using a halberd, use a 1h sword as main equipment. You have a wider variety of skills and can still use halberd skills, brawler skills, magic skills, and dagger skills.

 

Im a super DPS halberd but I want 2h also because of revamp sword skill ^.^ why not have both hehe... rampage + power wave please
