Things that are making toram extremely boring.

Now before you Say its not, You need to remind yourself that I hate grinding on a daily basis, Toram can almost be considered as a Part time job at this point now because the grind for items is super ridiculous and There's always minimal deadlines, And I know the real world is like that but its a video game, there's no need for a game to be so mundane and grind HEAVY with very little content (Wanna argue with that hmu on the convos not here.) And with very little player content.

anyways what do you think is making toram boring?

U can just play casually since there is no PvP nor do u need op gear bc....no PvP

so very boring for me is when ppl farm for profit (easy mode faster, better drop Blabla) instead of fun and challenges u.u

 

Yes I do, And the only thing I do online is Just log in if anything sold in CB. If I didn't play I wouldn't be making this post in the first place.

That is kind of how all MMOs are man. Its all about the grind. To answer your question.. I think the bias to mages kind of hurts the playability for me at least. Not that I dont love the game but being almost forced to use storm to farm is frustrating.

 

True all MMOs are grind happy but, Most of them have a lot of player content if the player gets bored of the constant grind. Toram Is a totally different thing. There's no world boss event, There's no player homes or pets (YET BUT LETS BE HONEST ASOBIMO WILL DELAY IT MORE AND MORE TIL THEY DECIDE TO IMPLEMENT IT.) And There's no Spina dungeon(Personally this would make the game a bit more fun, since the only ways to make spina Is just farming and trading. And selling to sololo but seriously though only things we sell to sololo is untradable equips that are taking too much bag space, plus it would make it easier for noobs to make money and get their first armor hopefully, And I know maze is a thing. So this makes this part useless and nonsensical.)

 

From the way you say it man it seems Toram is a boring game for you in general. It's true some times it's a bit boring but if you have a lot of friends ig and you're playing with them it takes away the boredom, if you're that bored then might as well quit and look for a game that will satisfy your need for adventure. To answer your question "Farming" I think everyone would agree. lol

97% Of my friends list is a grave yard. So I'm not sure if I'm clearly doing something wrong here Or.

 

Killing even boss colon is fun when i am with my friends .... make some good friends to play with and it will be fun

 

Tbh what makes toram not fun for me is that my guild is either dead or the other members just live in different timezones and they come online during times where I'm not able to play (￣▽￣) As for my friends list...I've talked to like two people who seemed pretty nice and added them, but after that I haven't seen them ingame much omo

 

Now for me.. The story is so damn far and I'm waaaaay too damn lazy to level and all that

 

For me I constantly have to rush the game play from someone else asking for help often, farming in general gets boring and I'd be happier if there was another way besides using a barter system to make Spina since the Emblems don't give much an the Main Quest line itself only gives us 3,000 from Flare Volg battle after that you don't get any more Spina no matter what you have to do

 

I'm with you completely on this. Toram is way too grinding heavy. You really have little outside the main quest and farming.
well, you could say there's the guild maze, and the sofya guard dungeon thingy, but otherwise, meh.
pet hunting could be fun, but aso hasn't released it. maybe pets and room will be something worth sticking around for, make the grinding seem a little less grindy. only time will tell.(although from past experience I wouldn't keep my hopes high at all)
EDIT: I forgot to mention raid bosses, events that are not farming. I know aso will not implement pvp.
personally, I'd also add something like a vigor system of order and chaos 2,restrict how much can be done every day,and in return give a variety of things to do, a massive increase to quest xp, higher chance of slots etc. That's how you get rid of bots, not with a dumb(and completely avoidable) mini game.

 

I have to agree. While other mmorpg's are also grind-heavy, they have features that give you breaks from the monotony (eg: pvp, raid bosses, etc). We do have maze and dungeon, but they're pretty boring as well.

 

I really am only playing Toram because of 1 - 2 goals of mine. 1 being reach spina cap, 2 being a well known in the blacksmith business.

Grinding is no problem for me. I don't get bored when doing it, but I try to limit myself so I can keep track of my time. I am not really a fan of boss farming, so cross that out. I am not a fan of mazing or dungeon.

My goals are kinda based around farming, so that's really what's keeping me from playing the game other then the pets & house update.

They need mini games badly >.>
