I'll get to the questions directly:
1- what is proration ?

2-is the xtal drops random ? Or the drop books increase the chance of getting them ?

3-what is the difference between each refine level ? (How much atk is increased?)

4-Finally,what is the best thing that you like about toram ? for me its the story

if you continue to use the same type of attack (weapon attack, skill or magic) the monster will become resistant to it and damage gets lower with every use.
at the same time, resistance against other attacks will decrease.

Drop Rate is the chance to drop an item. the rarity of individual drops does not change.
so, yes, it does increase the chance since you get more drops, but it's still the most rare and the effect may not be noticeable.

atk is not increased. damage dealt is increased by 1% per level.
refinement on armor, add gear and shields reduces damage taken.
