    i have some questions ...
-why u guys add stat 1 by 1 if the result is same ? i found it cost same mats !!
-the second question is , why u guys sometimes give positiv stat first , then give minus stats , then last process
why not , give minus stat first , so the total amount of pot is high , it give higher succes rate

    1. It's not about the material cost, it's about the penalty calculation when adding stats within the same brackets.
    2. It's all about the calculation process and avoiding as much penalties as possible.
    3. Not every stat is as easy as doing it that way.

    element, ele+11%, matk+%
    Adding non-original element
    Minimum Potential: 55
    Step 1: add hpRec-7%, mdef-7%, dodge-7 (181pot left)
    Step 2: add element, ele+11%, matk+%
    *matk+7%=-44=74%
    *matk+6%=-34=86%
    *matk+5%=-24=99%
I followed this formula on my lvl 111 tech bs and got using a 56pot staff got -43 but success rate is 0%...

I doubled checked that stat and those are the correct success rates.

Atk isn't possible on armor at this level with pot available.

Edit: THIS stat isn't possible with attack on armor. Apologies for the confusion.

Attack takes up 140 potential on armor. Currently there are few sufficient ways to get attack on armor without heavy gamble, 2 options of which are listed on the first page.

To give you an idea, Str gives 70potential. The option of Stat7Cd7Cd12Cr12 is 8% success rate on 58pot. Attack is double stat potential consumption, this will give you a picture of the possibility of attack stats.

For the record, you can quote @Voodooed on it.

    That is not possible.
I tested it with even the lowest positive stat HP 1% which = -10 as opposed to testing it with any higher HP% or even with Attack 1%= -20 pot.

    Minimum Potential: 53
    Step 1: add cdmg+1% (43pot left)
Step 2: add cdmg+1, modify 9 times, each time adding +1, to end with cdmg+10 (13pot left)
    Step 3: add crit+1 (12pot left)
    Step 4: add crit+1% (11pot left)
    Step 5: add matk-7% (86pot left)
Step 6: modify crit 11 times, each time adding +1, to end with crit+12 (75pot left)
Step 7: modify crit% 11 times, each time adding +1, to end with crit+12% (64pot left)
    Step 8: add HP+1%, cdmg+7%, cdmg+12 (-72=0%)

If you have postive potential left at the end that just automatically means it's going to be 100% successful stat.

If you have left over pot after statting everything as of right now in the game you CANNOT go back and add more stats because you have filled every space with a stat and none are left over. You can't even go back and modify what you have even if you have left over potential. When and IF the developers of the game decide to add more spots to statting then you MAY be able to go back and modify, but by that time your weapon or armor will be outdated.
