Healer in Toram Online

I know this may be a stupid question but how many healers are actually in this game I know about it and I'm good at it but I don't see as many or any other healers in the game and btw does anyone know a way for me to better my build in healing just asking

 

there prolly aren't that many anymore cause there pretty decent tanks who take aggro now.. healing becomes unnecessary

 

What Aromitic said in addition to all the self healing you can do with all the skills in this game, it becomes unnecessary

 

I am the Halberd that heals.. people still die to bosses and need that first aid and mini heal. Guys say it isn't so! X.x

 

With all the skills in the game and all the bosses having more than one way of sure-shotting your backside into Sagittarius A*, one would think that maybe making a full DPS character is a bad idea but NooOOoooOo let's go FULL damage! With no ability to survive a normal monster attack!.

I'm a healer- a Support healer- my build is based on @Raider_ guide

athough I messed up the stats which I'm gonna rebuild.
Although it may seem not of much use, but when there's an event of Ultimate boss For eg: recent was Empress Nightmare mode- people were asking for a healer

By the way, my healer is mage build- staff+shield as in that guide, and I use Libra (-50% matk, 1000cspd)
higher cast speed>the spells are cast fast-before you are flinched.

 

The devs themselves said that they wont be adding healer tree or healer class to the game as they want the game to be played without a healer.

 

.....(it will be a nigtmare for a lazy player then,sigh*(no spina,no potion,bad equipment,and those leecher will be ***** up)

 

They can go AGI/INT Magic Device Supporter Build for AMPR, Dodge and reasonable magic damage along with status effects.

 

I stopped playing healer due to the constant hate i got from community saying healer isnt wanted. And altho the devs said that initially they then added advance bless buff skill and mini heal is now low mp cost. Healers are useful outside rev burning. You wont get much atm from ppl because its mostly dmg oriented in game. But with the dif modes, new boss mechanics and higher dmg taken now. From what ive seen in game, the ideaology is dps,tank and heavy rev usage. The cool down time of revs is usually what kills the player thats rev dependant, where as b4 the tank was ideal but now fractional cuts through all that def. dps builds are nice, but def suffers. Its official that healers now have a place in toram. Its about time we accept that dont you think? The games rules have changed =^_^=

 

The devs said it themselves I can dig up their original quote if you want. I have nothing against a healer its just not something I would need all the time would rather invite a 1.1k aspd merc with me to help me prorate.
My shield mage for example can tank and solo almost every boss without revita and good at dps as well, I dont need a healer on me as I can heal myself pretty well either way ^^ I only got 6.5k hp fractionals dont bother me either and physical/magic attacks I can build up enough resistance to invalidate them as well. You prolly dont know theres a skill known as perfect defence now which even fractionals cant penetrate and it heals myself immediately unlike the waste of 25sp from enhanced bless that needs extreme matk to work properly.

Dont get me wrong a pure supporter that casts mana recharge and attack buff are really good I would pair up with them and 2 of my mercs but a char that JUST heals and nothing else? Nope

 

i dissagreed because your example of the devs comments was based off the dev Q&A which was before the boss dif modes were added making things in game harder, newer bosses are a pain e.e. Then the heal trees were updated. The example was outdated before both changes occured. I wasnt trying to start anything with you, but it seems to have come off that way. Im still getting use to posting on here. Keep in mind the devs are the ultimate trolls. =^_^= i think imma avoid the emojis on here as they dont represent my thoughts.

I was not aware of the perfect defense, what tree is that from? Is that the one with high aggro aka guardian by any chance?

I main an archer, but im trying make a heal char for maze,dungeon and boss support for those new pesky ailments my guildies are dealing with atm. Im finding i cant rly use arch during brk runs because i end up killing boss x.x hah

Perfect defence is from knight skill tree lvl125 I have tanked aranea on nightmare (the graveyard for pure tanks) without any buffs/gems and still contributed to 30% attacker with my shield mage with its help I can cure ailments and cast mini heal as well it all depends on how well you build your char. Revita + mini heal + p def is enough for me as I only have 6.5k hp gonna stop adding more vit for awhile as new bosses arent full vit friendly. Even though the game got revamps on healing skills they are still not good enough to make a char that exclusively does that, again I am fine with full supporter that can cast support skills to boost my damage but not if they just gonna waste time healing when I dont even need it.

 

Im a support but doesnt focus on healing, im more of a buff giver and a first aid...

Maybe soon a full support healer class be needed. We can expect future boss to be very annoying with insane HP/attacks. In Iruna higher levels boss changing elements throughout the kill like an added difficulty. Since we can't switched gears as we fight, I don't think future boss be like in Iruna. They'll be hitting us crazy hard, high HP, high elemental skills, thick elemental defense shell. And a full support with heal be a wise tank's buddy for this types of grind

Yeah and soon I wouldn't be surprised on a boss hitting majority of it's attacks are fractional. The ranking is our proof a full support class someday is useful. Because at the current status of the game where it's at, full support/tanks kinda not needed esp when it's just a forever normal mode.

 

Teach meh how to p.def mastah chicken... Can't time my pdef, cuz storms blocking my view... So i resorted to timed interrupts and moving away with assault as chaser... But its pretty scary when interrupt misses TT.TT

 

I have much more trouble timing my assault instead of timing my p def xD coz you cant use assault if your character is too close to the boss as the boss will get knockback along with the aoe.
For me p def is much more valuable for healing rather than surviving I use it when I am low on hp, it sounds extremely risky but its worth it and also makes the bosses more fun to solo ^^ Dont have issues of storm blocking the view so far (maybe coz I am soloing instead of party) sometimes its better to track the movement of the boss than the timing of the aoe.
About interrupt I suggest you max impact to lvl10 as it is 100% tumble for staff and it never misses either I sometimes use it outside a combo for this reason only the bosses that cant be tumbled are a problem.
