Combo help? DPS/Phantom Slash

Currently:

Lvl 120
Pure str/rest agi
Full crit arm
Full crit mw
Sub: elem
Gothic hat +15
Muscle Talisman III
xtals/pending...

My current ps dmg is maxed out at 4K and I've tested a variety of different combos suggested here and elsewhere and can't seem to move away from that--seems awfully low for where I'm at right now.

Could I get some combo suggestions?

I have:

Astute 10 / Trigger 10 / War Cry 1

Spinning 10 / Phantom 10 / Shadow Step 10

Holy Fist: 1

Passives: DW mastery 10 / Control 10 / God Speed 10 and Critical Up @ 10 in Battle

Anything else is at the min lvl of 5 to get to the other skills.

Hopefully I'm not missing anything.

I don't know if I just need to be patient and wait for better results with xtals, leveling, and more skill/stat points... or maybe I need to re-distribute some points. I just feel like in the now, I should be doing better.

So, short-term seeking suggestions for combos working with what I currently have, and am certainly open to suggestions to improve down the road.

Try this combo i just found it today and i love it. From what it looks like you may need to refine your weapons and get some xtals to up your damage a bit more

I don't have temptest though unfortunately. Anything you think I could use in place of that?

I Remember that thread. Becareful with that combo :/ though cuase it eats up your HP and your revitas will drop quickly, but if you like that kinda of combo go for it.

 

with ur skill set up the only thing that can help u is 2mp combo.. astute>warcry(save)>spin(cons)>shadow step(cons)>trigger(cons)> phantom(smite)>hardhit(cons)
2mp low proration fast phantom animation(triggerbuff)

if u want lower consumption but fast animation(additional magicproration as bonus) go get impact..(22 sp)
then u can have a fast 1mp combo (phantom sure crt)
astute>warcry(save)>spin(swift)>shadow(cons)>impact(cons)>phantom(smite)>trigger(cons){trigger for ampr or add hardhit for interruption}

No problem though let me explain this combo this in case i have some people that would try to discredit it
I WILL NEVER use Impact or quick aura it in this build.
Quick Aura takes a chunk of your HP every time that skill is used which will go against my current build cuase it favors high survival rate.
Impact cost waaayy tooo much Skill points to get which is a waste. And in order to get impact to prorate you would need to be near the target. Since Impact tumbles it would not be very useful against tumble sensitive targets. I Used to use this skill and trash it.

Tempest and spinning slash Adds proration, with this combo i only have to auto attack 1 time before using the combo again for the damage to increase for the combo and with no auto attack the damage for the combo remains the same. With the other combos with or without impact, i would have to auto attack 3 times to up the damage before using the combo again, 2 auto to keep the damage the same. War cry and Flash blast boost damage and dont eat up any proration.

Since Flash Blast increases unsheathe damage greatly, it works very well for the smaller combo i have since shadow step at the end of that combo actives a powerful unsheathe attack.
The Bigger combo is for dealing more when the target leaves it self open, unable to attack. Is so that i dont have to spam the smaller combo through the entire fight

 

Thank you! I'll give that first combo a try. I did start out with impact but I felt that it consumed too much sp and was too slow so my combo would be interrupted, so I used a notebook and swapped those points out for war cry and trigger slash and upped some of my other skils. I don't know if I was possibly misusing it or it just wasn't a good combo for the boss I was fighting.

Whaaa.... impact is fast at lvl7 and it do cut half next skill..

 

I probably didn't have the 7 points suggested. So I imagine that was my problem there.

But that was also more sp than I'd like, so I think I want to look into a build/combos w/o impact for the time being.

its up to u tbh.. if u want a fast prorating skill to cover ur mp consumption impact is the best..
lvl7 is a must in impact for insta cast.. also shadowstep can bypass impact skill..

 

You can also replace impact with reflex after shadow step.. It prorates the same but have risk of lower defense
