Katana skills about "Zantei Settetsu

I've been testing the skills
and the one that surprised me the most is Zantei, specially im equipped with the basic katana
I think something is triggering it to deal this much damage
does anyone know what is it
sometimes the 4th strike doesn't do much

 

If you get hit at any point during the skill animation, the extra hit occurs (will be indicated by a buff on your status screen; the buff will disappear once you get hit)

 

ok it's all about timing then.

 

I did it with only katana that drops by bone skeleton its good af, and yeah its bout timing @TheXIIIthGuy.
I used dat combo far away and dealt the zantei when enemy is about to hit me so -0 HP lol

 

The upper 4 skills of the tree focus mostly on pure offense while the lower 3 focus on defense. It's basically like a thorns effect.

 

Well what do you put on your stats dex or agi? Im having trouble because i dont know what to put

 

Zantei is really underrated.

 

maybe they will adjust that in time,,,

 

They haven't adjusted strike stab, so I doubt they will this.

Zantei Settetsu is pretty powerful, breaks 700k in a hit if you time it right.

Only problem is that if your team spams interrupts and aggro keep switching you're not going to land it.

Probably a great skill for solo players, but with party of randoms...you're going to be like "fuck, GG mp".

But, if you find four OP samurai. You're probably going to have a good time.

But what people are not realising is the amazing ampr and dps potential from all the other techniques. Which will probably be more useful in a team, while Zantei is an opportunity skill/omae wa mou shindeiru skill.

 

That's true , Zentei can't blind me with numbers. Zentei Purpose is for solo runs, mini boss or unless you got a party set up that will let you tank the boss to trigger OP Dmg. HASSO HAPPA and PULSE is my style.

use it on auto counter bosses like ifrid or proto. impact zantei and you will counter the boss counter

 

are you using power wave?

But anyways, you can max out both skills. I'm pretty sure you can get some lit damage. if you do it right

oh an katana is 1h. warcry is at 1min duration with katana.

my bad... someone else was using warcry. all blade skills and passives dont work as well when tested

 

Put much on STR on this one
I've been experimenting last night
and STR DEX works for me
i compensated ATK spd with quick aura

 

I think it's a good build
but won't you miss the advantage of sukuchi?
