Take a look at this, it ties in with what @June noticed in other MMO, I don't want the game to become all about who has the most Spina to get the most kills in Pvp. Thay will become the sole focus of the game rather than the journey to progress throughout the game.

I totally know what you mean about that... The issue I'd have is the trolls and twits out there that would abuse it.

 

I care about gameplay and satisfaction of a game, dunno if you read my petition on this or not, but either way... Having a petition pro and against is healthy and a creates a "forum" for feedback. Wouldn't be just if it were one sided.

 

PvP does not bother me, as long as it is an arena type and not just random pk-ing.

 

Honestly it is hard to tell "tone" in text- so fair enough there.
I'm not concerned about trolling for myself but more for younger players etc. I've seen it before, even many years ago in Runescape etc some sad things used to happen. Make love... Not war haha.

 

I don't agree on the petition topic, but I do agree that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and that a distribution and variation of responses are always healthy for a community.

Slightly off-topic but I do remember the first time I was lured into the wilderness area near Edgeville monastery, entangled & dead before I even knew what hit me. Good times of newbhood, haha.

 

PVP Arena and GVG castle yes...... random PK is a nono.....

I'm of the mind that I don't care as long as it's optional. I may never have a single pvp match if it comes out simply because it's not my thing, but it's not gonna hurt anyone who doesn't just it.

The beauty of options is that you get to choose. I've played plenty of games with pvp, archeage, for example, which focuses largely on pvp, and pretty much avoided it for the most part. Sure, I had my occasional scuffle but it didn't stop me from playing the game.

I don't see why you keep quoting June as if she's some sort of authority on the psychology of gaming. Yeah, she said some things that sounds like they make sense but it's just hooblah. In the same vein, I can just as easily tell you that pvp will pump more life into a game that's become stagnated with routine. It will offer more to a game everyone already enjoys. At the moment it sounds like you think no one is competitive when the "quest to obtain the strongest gear" is all about being competitive. That may not be your goal, personally, but the fact that people trade millions of spina for a single item already speaks otherwise.

 

I'm 100% for pvp and for random pking too. But I'm more of an extremist. Such as when you die your character gets deleted. If you tied that with pking I'd honestly drop off the face of the planet for a game like that. I know it'll never happen with Toram, but man would that be cool.

On topic: There's a big fan base for non-pvpers. Even if PvP was introduced you'll still be able to play toram the same way you did before. It won't affect you. The items that you can recieve will most likely be tied to PvP so it won't give you any sort of advantage on a non PvP plateform.

Slightly off topic: After rereading my post this almost seems comparative to real life things. Such as gay marriage. You wouldn't want to deny others of there true love right? Why deny our love for blood?

 

Wow, this is kind off topic (or not?) but why not just ask for a new map like a Coliseum then you can just go there if you wanna fight another players or guilds, haha ~peace

 

If PvP is ever introduced it will most likely be in this sort of setting.

 

As long as it's optional, I don't care if there's pvp or not. It gives the capped people something to do besides blacksmithing and gear grinding. If people wanna stroke their egos, let 'em. You can't really stop that on the internet. xD

But to be honest, I don't see pvp happening. If it does it won't be for a long time.

 

like what @h0tcak3s said, i would love to have a PVP arena, its something that players can use to compare their skills and stats and a way to discuss more strategy.

field and map PVP is ok not to have.

 

ya, there's so many good players alr flaking off of the game due to the lack of variation it entails.

 

I think it's gonna be fun as long as random pk's are not there. haha. I can imagine people grinding then a mage throws a smited blast. hahaha it'll be really annoying. But yea the colosseum one will be good, having healthy spars would be dope.

 

I would like you to tell me what's the benefit of the game being PvE forever ^-^
