Breaker rank is mostly based on the number of 'hits' inflicted upon the boss.

 

Include magical & physical hit
Or only physical hit?

 

Physical

 

A brawler with aggravate, hidden arm, and intensive knife would probably be the best way to get the breaker rank, but hidden arm and intensive knife cost a lot of sp considering that they aren't good damage dealers.

Breaker rank this rank is a bit funny to counted is. Okay ill explain hows this works, lets just say minotaur farm and everyone do spamming combo physical, lets just say ur teammate hb and 2h. If u do normal atk after he doing that skill voila in the end u get the breaker rank. And if u do normal atk first the one who do spamming physical skill after such a normal atk he will get breaker rank.

Simple say breaker rank get by a proration breaks such as normal atk proration, physical proration and magic proration

 

How to do proration breaks?

 

The reason is simple u do 1mp combo while ur team mate its prorating normal atk or a mage cast storm

 

Breaking is weird.
Doing a skill that allows.for.breaking adds most to the rank
Doing an auto attack.is second most
Skilling is the least
Tapping doesn't do.jack

This is why tanks always get breaker. They stun bosses and auto attack like pros

 

Its simple lets just say ure start farming boss and do normal atk, first u get hit 3K, 2nd hit 2.5K, 3rd hit 2K, 4th hit 1.5K and 5th hit 1.2K. The boss will have high resist at normal atk after 5th hit. Thats WHEN ur normal atk proration in the max. And u do ur best high physical skill dmg dealer. Voila u get the high number damage deal at physical skill and that breaks ur normal atk proration. Lets just say u do Spike Dart Strike Stab Smite Assault Atk Minds Eye that would be breaks ur 8 normal atk proration.

 

Yep flinch tumble and stun counted as breaker rank too. But proration count as breaker rank too.

Mostly tank will wins breaker ranks. But not in all case

 

Breaker rank inncrease by
1. do interrupt skill
2. do many auto attack (faster aa)
3. proc shellbreak, blind, and other ailment

p/s, tap wont increase ur breaker rank

 

I think stunt, tumble or break enemy movements got the higher point counted than a proration.. .. it was just my experience.. As a newbie tank tou

No ones mentioning armor break inflict even though it gives high points to breaker (even higher than flinch tumble stun inflict)

Nice theory but it has nothing to do with proration breaking or something. Auto attacks, flinch/tumble/stun, armor break and other ailments add points to breaker rank, the one with the highest points wins. All of those attacks have different points on breaker. Dual wielders have highest chance to get breaker if they spam spinning slash and no one knows the reason to that.

 

What about other ailments? (lethargy, slow, poison, paralysis, etc).

 

More hits = more points in breaker. Spinning slash hits for 16 times alone.
