Question. Refine Stat and Mats

If I wanted to pay someone to refine or stat my gear and I collected all the mana metal etc mats for the piece...what kind of discount should I expect. For instance say it was a 2mil piece of work...how much of that 2 mil is mats and time farming them and how much is for the skill of the player doing work?

 

Some ppl do stats for free, if u give them all the mats. For refining it's depend! For example s would be 4-7m instead of 7-10m. Depends!

For the most part, the statting service is just paying for the time to farm the raw mats that's put into the equip that is being statted. Theorectially if u did provide them with 100% of the mat needed it should be free, but it really wouldn't be fair to them. Also for popular stats like full crit, it takes 34k mana and other mats, are you going to trade them that much and see how the processing of mats goes? It end up wasting more time for both. If you tip them it would cost you more and they in turn take more time but on paper made less. So in the in the end you might as well have sold the raw mats you gotten and just pay them easiest solution.

 

yeah. that makes sense. i am still new though and have 2 toons 125 wauting for skill reset atm. in that time i have farmed a lot of mana mats off of ooze 40ish stks. 2 stks of mithril and 40ish orich. i dont have the skill to do anything with it yet but i could trade mats for gear stat and refine. Was just thinking of that really.

 

if it's the ooze mats that gives 40 to 50 mana per, might not be so bad to trade. Mithril ore i suppose can used for refine, ori ore really isnt used for refine. Find some trusted(not self proclaimed) bs maybe they can help you. Hardest part of making a statter is the leveling. I made one for myself for testing weapons as i needed but really too lazy to sell that service(constantly have to refill mats and pretty much sell it like it's costco wholesale prices), and only announce that i could provide said service in guild, but if they forgot oh well lol.

 

I'd suggest selling ooze mats
he has some mats that are used for smithing some gear

 

I appreciate all the info. Was extremely helpful. I actually broke down and started a 3rd toon last night full tech. Gonna try to do my own refining 0-s with 2 toons. Will definitely be looking for statters in the future. I definitely get what you mean about tradeing stks and stks of low lvl mats being more trouble than its worth. Yeah I am talking about the stks of 5k mana mats. I have saved up about 30-40stks of that so far. Thanks again for all the grwat advice.

 

I'm looking to make my own smiths and such too. If you don't mind me asking, how did you gather so much mana material?

 

if u do make a tech bs, make sure u make a luck mage on same account for future mat gathering. Luck mages secondary use is for refining beyond the point that tec bs are able to refine with a reasonable cost. Only need 1 point in refine nothing more.

 

Actually luck mage is my main. I made a halb second. I kinda messed up both toons though so decided to do the tech smith as well while waiting for reset. Thanks so much for pointing that out though.
