counting critical for dummies

hi!
im a semi new player (2.5 months) and just now starting to immerse myself on the technical part of the game, since i only cared about looks before lol (actually until now)
i tried reading the tome of offense by the XIII guy but i guess my brain is not yet inclined to that amount of heavy lifting
so i ask this:
How do i count my actual crit rate?
heres my stats and gears:
dex>255
crit>55
str>69
a7cccd14 weap tyrant
cd7cd13cc14 armor ico+ifr
wearing tyrant mask with warmonger
dex tal III with bexiz
if anyone can give me a simple guide it wil be very much appreciated *_*

Im no expert but what i understand is this:
Base crit rate = 25 + (CRT ÷ 3.4)
25 + (16) = 31
Base crit then gets boosted by %
31 * 1.28 = 39
Then add flat crit
39 + 37 = 76
Not sure how the rounding works i assume it uses int math and rounds downs each time but i could be wrong

Glad i could help. Like i said not sure on the rounding so you might have more crit than what i said. My math was worse case scenario lol

 

Yep it rounds down

25 + (55/3.4) = 41
41 *1.28 = 52
52 + 39 = 91

Total crit rate 91%

 

Lol i aaded 6 instead of 16 and messed up adding the flat crit from gear and xtals together... I can not math today XD

follow up question where did you get the 25 in the beginning? is it the boost from critical up?

 

25 is your base crit its not from crit up

 

so where does crit up effect adds? also how much crit does it give? (closest approx)
