Your practically describing how the toram used to be long ago i see what you getting at. Back then before and after lvl70 cap much of those points you mention didnt exsist rye. Most of the people here didnt play toram at that time i guess tho. You could do much more with much less then compared to now thats obvious

Almost everyone had different builds, all the skills and hidden stats hadnt been figured out yet so losta people just explored and exprimented no bandwagon metas. The elite wannabe pro players probably started around the bow gun snipe meta. Lots of cocky players started appearing then.
Botting and rmt was a issue but definitely not what it is now where infaltion massive to the point ludicrous if you do not slave farm, do not buy spina and dont buy orb chest items you wont be able to keep up with the average high tier player. The whole economy is fucked to put it plainly.
Everyone tried to get "op" gear but 2s and s+ stuff was basically impossible to get then, but now you have elitist players you can just rmt best of the best gear no problem. Heck i met a 2 week old player with 60m spina 2s everything. Weres the fun in that tho?
Well thats my history lesson, you would stand a very good chance of being a strong player back then but not now anymore

 

Maybe for some. But ive met a lot of players that are super rich but super noob

u mjght be right but imo its not as worse as u say. i came from a diff aso game which is heavy p2w, its a constant money grab when u reached endgame. toram tho is kind of balanced. i can make spina w/o buying orb and finish any build if i put efford in. there always downsides but i love toram pretty much ^^

 

Id like the npc game gear and boss drops to be tradeable but xtrade the player craft stuff maybe have a couple of the real rare mob boss drops as xtrade

 

That's how things used to be. Back in the day everyone thought archers were useless so we'd form parties of 4 archers at new bosses and it'd take 15 mins to beat them, but it was fun.
