120 or 255 luck?

what is the best luck for farming nightmare crystal ?
i have read many threads but still i cant find the answer what im looking for
can somebody please confirm if it is 120 luck or 255 luck?

40 luck..full int... Its dosent metter lolx.
If u full luck but cant 1/2 hit storm, i still kick u
IMO.

 

damage is not a problem. my damage is around 2000-2500 on roars
just want to know the most luck so that i can farm efficiently

 

255 luk is best

 

255luk so you can use that char to do refine gear as well..

 

Only problem for that is that char will be stuck to roars foreverafter. Most mages nowadays farm higher mobs like parasite doggies and mech piggies. It is even harder to farm vitribell for nectar.

if im not planning to farm other than NC 120 is the right amount? or i should just max my luk even though im only farming NC?

 

There was a study about that luck 120 sweetspot but it was wayy old. Did not know if it still apply nowadays. Best is to consult the resident dataminers and math geeks. My farm char is on hiatus due to this issue im still conflicted if i should remake as a luck archer(arrow shower looks bae) since i also got pets in tow. Or it remain as it is.(storm is the best pet skill trainer known in toram).

With the current skill set. I have made it to endure more.(it is already weak af, i dont want is glassy af too) and at least manage to survive solo boss runs with merc and pet in tow.

 

i guess there’s no ther choice than make 2 luk mage and compare them

Honestly I'd say 120
Luck is really useless if you can't kill
Not every person would allow leeching (only leeches I allow are guildies+friends)
Your call tho but personally I'd put a moderate amount in luck and some for whatever other stat you want
Mix it up a bit

 

If you're not willing or are unable to get fully decked out in elemental MD/staff, elemental armor, crystals, or stuff like Ice Crystal Ring, cap yourself at 120 LUK. If you're not going to cap the character, that's even more reason for you not to cap LUK. This will also allow you to farm monsters with better resource values as well if you do decide to get better gear.

If you're willing to make all the equipment and dump spina into your farming character, then consider getting 255 luk. Or capping your luk at a high luk value. Considering that new enemies may come out that will be a valuable resource.
edit: Also consider if your going to make a luk refiner. But just be warned it takes some investment if you're going to farm.

If you're not one shotting or your party isn't one shotting, you're not getting the full value of your drop rate boost. In my opinion anyway.

 

to add more, luck is said to be not shared to the party so by leeching you just get a kill share from your party and its enough for 255 luck to get nc that way. so leech or without leech killing is more important. well you said damage is not a problem againts roars then youll stuck at nc till we get more lvls for stat points.

 

From what I experienced, I get more nc with full luck than full int. But of course, my farmer mage is equipped to the teeth to get 1-2 hit kill. It is easy to make farmer gears nowadays.
