Newbie hv question xD

Hi to all... xD
Im new to toram and this forum, happy to meet you all..

I got question, i read alot of guide and threads here and there.. and lot of ppl not all are saying that, farming spina is the best way to get items we want..

So, what is the point of us getting stronger? xD if anything can be buy from farming mino skin, nc and anything else better and easier than farming mats or gear or xtal from difficult monster :'(..
Its not that im not enjoying playing toram, I SUPER ENJOY IT ! NOT LYING.. hehe..
its just on my mind and i keep thinking about it for a while and finding the purpose of getting stronger.. unlike in other game, getting stronger means more money hehehe..

Some people do it to show off, some do it because they find the idea of getting stronger to be fun, and some have other reasons. Personally for me, I like to get stronger for YouTube and stuff like that (I'm still weak though XD, but I'm getting stronger).

so.. it rly is doesnt matter when its coming to spina farming how strong we are?

 

It like~
Weak, farm mino/ weak boss , 10 days got 1m spina
Strong, farm highest boss, 1day 1m spina
Thats all~

 

It's a matter of finding the right balance, there will come a day when you will get bored of farming mino skins or showing off or dominating ranks and you will want to experience the game on its entirety. Helping your friends with difficult quests is one such instance, being really useful to your party is another. You can do these things easier by becoming strong.
And to answer your question, it does. Being stronger means you will have access to wider range of strong mobs, and you can farm them easier. Unlimited options means more spina.

 

I can do 1m or more a day in mino if I don't work or get bored to sleep LoL.


I don't really farm for spina now though. Doing that would get you burned out real quickly, which makes you lose interest in the game quickly.

Unless you really like farming, which I might suggest a different game namely Harvest Moon.

Why play an MMO when 90% of your time is spent on farming? Play it like how it's meant to be played, like a social media where you can flirt with fellow perverts all day.

Why not make this game as an opportunity to know people from other countries? You get to learn about their country, their language, customs, and whatnots.

If being the strongest is what you're after, believe me, there will always be someone stronger than you.
If being the richest is what you're after, believe me, there will always be someone richer than you.

But if you surround yourself with good friends, playing together and create memories, believe me, those would last a lifetime.

 

....and I just made myself an old folk in this forum. I guess going 30 can be considered old in a very fast-paced world nowadays.

 

You prolly haven't progressed much on your main quest for having this thoughts. There will come a time that your strength alone will be needed to finish a certain part of the story and no random/friend party can help you because it's a personal/solo quest.

My personal reasons, why I want to be strong in this game:

1. It sure is fun, if the protagonist of the story is strong.

2. I have this eternal duel with my Queen. That's why I need to be strong.

3. As a leader, I think strength should be one of your good qualities, together with your philosophical views.

4. To show off. Like for example that wtf moment when your brawler beat other dps classes.

getting stronger means you can help friend and other people in need and that is a beautiful thing (i think)

And i fully agree with Cyka.. it must be beautifull to help other, and of course showing off is 1 of the reason we play game hehe

 

So that you can help the weaker members of your guild or friends? Also with a stronger character, you can be able to fight in ultra hard event battles or bosses and receive awesome prizes
