We can all agree that guys who kept dying are useless. Yes, you can play however you want but useless is useless.

This is the General Discussion section. Ranting about annoying stuff is allowed. Flaming isn't.

Nothing is wrong with Glass Cannons. The problem with it is that newbies enamored with DPS just bandwagons on said builds because "huge damage" but don't actually know how to play. Defending those guys is stupid.

It's about why do people care so much about meta gears if they themselves don't even know the basics. It's more of a wake up call, not just some rant.

Some says why stay in a party you don't like.
A. There are variables playing out here like:
1) There are no other parties.. And joining them, although gives you stress, can still reduce work compared to soloing.
2) Guildmates / friends that you need to show them some face.

Sure there are ranting included, but it's not so self centered that you have to denounce other people. It's like trying to change someone's lifestyle. It's hard coded, extremely hard to change or can't be changed at all. And afraid of change or being left behind or being unable to brag.

Sorry but I have to quote on this, do you even realize that you're doing that one last part right now? I agree that censoring the name is giving them face, but if the guy is like that in all parties, I can't blame the creator of this thread.

 

Then what? your blaming the guides that recommend crafted gears? Blaming players for making crit gears and crit builds?

Guides are meant to guide, its the players fault if they blindly follow a build without knowing how it works, imagine the forums without guides, these people who blindly follows guides do you think they are capable of making their own, considering they cant even put effort in understanding how things work?
Would'nt they scratch in the dark and remain scrubs only to find out after years of playing that crit doesnt miss, that theres an hp boost in survival tree....

shouldnt they be glad these people spent hours and hours testing different combinations, different equipments?
then what does these dps wannabes do? blame the guide maker cuz they cant fully utilize the build because of their own misgivings...

Without all this guides true power only lies to a select few, only those who put effort in understanding the game, would half the players learn how to stat a gear all by themselves? Would they know that using luck mage beyond +A is easier?

Its not indoctrination its a fact... There's a reason why these gears are popular, cuz in fact its the easy way out, imagine trying to get both high dps and high survivability with only drop gears, now imagine finding which equip should you use without guides... Will you know wich gear to use?

This is the reason why i hate blaming, instead of making effort to improve oneself, they tend to blame others to protect their ego thinking "i am better than this scrubs"

But then you consider a one sided argument
Why are we defending them? Because we are that exact same scrub when we were newbies ourselves, clawing our way unto what we are now... They are not robots; they're humans; and humans adapt and learn, in time they will learn how to dodge or they learn that need more survivability, they just need a little bit of love and patience

 

This is understandable as archers have different play style. You'll eventually get the melee's quirks and learn what and what not to do.

It is inexcusable though if what you're maining is melee and you still keep dying.

 

This part tho, right in the feels. But do remember that everyone have their own pace and we'll be needing a hell lot of that in some cases.

In this case friends will be the best party members you will have (unfortunately not all the time) as they understand how patient you are and still depend on the role they wanna play.

 

Not when they don't even take constructive criticisms. Like that one on the screenshot.

It's fine to blame if it's justified.

Yea, and from the context of her statement, she's playing with a team of newbies. Is it inexcusable for newbies to die often? Trial and error is the basic of learning, there's no need to call them scrubs and useless. Criticising their build as if what she's using and doing is holier and smarter, emphasizing and bragging that she's untouchable is the only thing I can see from this thread. Hence why I suggested to try putting herself in their shoes.

 

True. if its constructive criticisms, then its good. she even provide some solution in first page.

The problem is, she blame cccc equip as the problem . No, the problem is the other gears, ppl usually buy already s1 armor with iconos or preparing to fill it with iconos.
Also, from what i read in this thread, she hasnt even acquire a proper gear. (at least fullcrit arm with iconos +E)

She's a newbie too so yeah I can understand why she doesn't understand that Crit equips isn't at fault. It's just that most DPS builds always use Crit equips so it's easier to associate them with it and those that don't know might assume it's the problem.

 

Indeed, well, they will learn it eventually. Just need experience to know that.

eh really? her grammar are so broken i skip some of her sentences. if she is a pro, her equipments are trash then.

 

I've read the comments and none seems to imply that she thinks of him/herself as a pro. Also what @Asatu said, some are really hard to read/understand, still didn't think she's implying that she is a pro. Calling out newbies "newbies" is fine. No self respecting veteran melee user would keep dying and still think they're not the problem.


I assume that she's a newbie from the threads she created asking about some stuff. Plus the Crit gear blaming. No veteran that knows what he is talking about is gonna blame that.

And cant blame you 6mins in york hard, I soloed it without tier 4 skill with my mage(Int>vit) in less than 5mins.
Sad to say but some people dont accept advice from others, I remember someone said idiot to me when I said add Vit on L150 ths and ALWAYS die in sakura chap2.
