DEF and MDEF

I have extra SP to spend on my capped mage and trying to figure out if I should add them to battle skills - increase def, to make me stronger or something else. Not sure if it's a waste to add it there or if another skill is better.

 

I was really sick of dying... blame my cursed finger!!!
Anyway i tried defense up 10 with heavy armor mastery. It makes me feel quite tankier than before. But... i realizes just some Vit stats can easily solve the survivality issue... like +50 at least...

Basically the thread explained how 250 DEF/MDEF is enough, from this point onwards its better to just tank up with HP instead. Another option is using Armor Masteries to beef up from Guard or Evasion.
Thus we got to the question "what should I do with my SP then?" owo
The answer to that question my boi, is the future update of Magic Blade and Dark Energy skill trees.

 

All my stats are int > dex. I'm fiddling around w/ different things (skills and gear) without changing my stats. Vit is something I'll look into adding rather than def mastery. ATM I just equip frog hat (3k hp) if I problems, lol, not ideal but works.

Battle skills aren't worth it specially if you're a Finale user.

 

ironic that positive def doesnt matter much but having a negative def really hurts
