Rise in toxic players

I have been playing this game since 2015, and i only returned recently after a long break. i started to encounter many individuals, in fact, everyday, who would threaten me and insult me for not doing as they please. (one instance, this indonesian told me to tank as a finale mage because i was holding a shield, or he will kick me) after i left, my chat was soon spammed with personal attacks by him. I noticed that it is mostly asian players who are so uncivilised and toxic in the game that it is frustrating and it kills my interest. (dont get me wrong, 75% of my friend list consist of asian players and they are the greatest people i have met in the game). i have never had this problem back in 2016, and knowing that i would encounter these people everyday i often have second thoughts with regards to farming bosses. Being kicked out of parties by chinese individuals for stealing their rank unintentionally. Being harrassed for not breaking the boss parts (when i am trying my best). Being called noob by 2s gear 'pros' who simply bought spina instead of using real effort, and they spit on poorer players instead of helping them. Being hurled vulgarities at for no reason because im a lower level player. These really kills the fun and experience. Dont you guys encounter this group of individuals often? if not and how would you deal with these type of people otherwise? (If possible, provide screenshots so that my fellow players reading this will know which players to avoid in the future, if it helps by any chance)

 

Toxic players are not worth the time. I just ignore them (unless sumbody pay me at least lol, imma dump a "dick-tionary" full of crap that satan will console you in hell when he see you) just ignore them in their dellusion of grandeur. Find other party that is not toxic.

Honestly any time im using my main and people in pt force me to tank because im a shield mage i do one of two things. Either ill take all ranks and leave pt to shame them or ill get aggro first then use aggro staff or sneak attack to make boss target the others to down them then exit room leaving them on the floor

 

Just hit them back with " Stfu mmo cancer race". Works everytime coz threres a 90% chance its just a wkwkwk gamer that rely on cheats, bots, mods, tuyuls, scams, rmt to play the game . If still wont stop pm attack, shout that publicly with his IGN and that player will just vanish immediately

 

it's simple, wether they were uneducated that's why they chat uncivilized or they just simply a sh!t in the world even on virtual one, what do you do with the sh!t? flush them to the toilet or do you want them to burn your time?

 

We all play fantasy games for different reasons, it could be for friends, for chatting, , the beauty of the maps, cosplay, music or simply escaping from problems of the real world.
Just report and block them. They are not worth spending time or energy on. If they were really addicted to the game they will reinstall. Which is a good for us all as it benefits us with more download events for free orbs and stuff.

 

Just report without saying anything bad.
If you do say anything bad then you will get penalty too.

 

Report them. Whenever i see fellow countrymen (ph which is also cancerous) do RMT or any harassment i auto report them. Devs will have an easier time to cleans the game this way.

 

Ahhaaahaa when i play i met toxic player like on minute basis its more fun actually. I like to toy arnd with them once i get bored i quit.

 

Toxic players are just like that annoying kid that you see every time you go to the supermarket. You know, the kid that starts bawling their eyes out when his mom doesn't want to buy him a toy or ice cream because of a strict budget. You just gotta ignore them. You can't? Well the beautiful thing about the internet, which real life lacks, is the ability to block people. Abuse that option! I know people in many games that have dozens to hundreds of people blocked, and sometime seven more. Maybe you can make fun of them if you're feeling malicious, but more often than not it's just you lowering yourself to their level. Feel like doing some community service? You can also report them. The good thing about toxic players is that they're almost always irrelevant. So if they're gone, pretty much no one would miss them.

 

Only ones I encountered are bad tanks that are so full of themselves.

Only admonished them once then never reply on whatever they say. They usually stop or leave the party after that.

If they kept harassing you in pm, 1 good trick to shut them up is say that you have a screenshot of your conversation and that you'll report them for harrasment.

Can't agree with you more. Yesterday just had this pt of kids at mozto machina telling me, a finale mage, to 'break'. ofc his pt didnt have a single member who could cc the boss and i had to use impact to make these kids happy. But eventually i got kicked for stealing the leader's dps rank and he n his pt spammed chat calling me nub which is pretty ironic. My best advice for you is to block them, because arguing with them is a waste of your time and ignoring them doesnt solve the problem. Find a pt thats willing to cooperate together, and avoid pts that are filled with depressed individuals behind the screens xD

The solution is easy just ignore em. Thry try provoke you and try you to insukt em so can report you

 

I think I'm quite lucky.. I haven't really met toxic players. If you do meet them, just ignore and leave their pt if they keep saying stupid stuff. IT'S TRUE that most of the toxic players are Indonesians, I'm an Indo myself (tho I barely interact with Indos in game), and a lot of people IRL are toxic which is sad. Also quite a lot of Indo players are doing RMT/botting/tuyul/scam which is why they're rich. But don't get me wrong, there are also a lot of good/strong players who play without doing those stuff.

Idk about those who kick you out of pt if you rank hog, the only reason I can think of is that they're jealous :V which is still stupid, why would you be jealous??
