Possible New Weapon Type? (not warhammer)

Thoughts on Minstrel:
So, Will i be able to beat someone to death after i put them to sleep via playing a lullaby with a flute? If so, sign me up!
Dancer:
Someone mentioned whips... I would have thought that they should be equipped with Iron Fans like Kabukis. But hey, whatever floats yer boat. xD

In general, I have a feeling that these skill trees aren't going to be the "normal" skill trees that can just be bought immediately in the library. They might make them just like Magic Blade and Dark Energy; which would require the use of a Skill book to learn the skills. =m=

I forgot to mention something about Assassins; The flow of class change promotion is like so: Warrior(swords)>Hunter(bows)>Assassin(throwing weapons). Here's to hoping a new weapon comes? But chances are, Asobimo will disappoint me and just make it a specialty skill tree for bowgun/sword+daggers. =m=

I was hoping that in one of the skills, the robot will have "aerial mode"

A dex based skill that allows the robot to "hover" (there will be a skill penalty but once the player's DEX is 100+, the penalty will be nullified and you'll see the robot hovering... and every 50 pts on dex (150,200,250), the hovering robot will be higher)


Stun, flinch and other status effects will have a knockback
Tumble will have a "GREAT KNOCKBACK"

But it has a drawback

Hover mode will give you great evasion and great resistance but when you get hit by a skill... physical and magical defenses ignored... it causes automatic knockout of pilot from the robot

Based on bosses lately, chances are since the def and mded are greatly lowered on hover mode... a 1 hit KO is more likely to happen

Also a vehicle can be used in battle

There would be a skill that ramms to the boss (and mobs) which inflicts tumble and knockback
(More TEC gives gives move chances and damage)

And another skill "second stool" which allows a party mate to hitch a ride..... and in battle mode, it allows a party member to cast a spell while being "moved" by the mechanic

But the mechanic must keep his/her speed in check, anything faster than "semi running speed" will cut the casting time.

At level 10, second stool gives casters +10% stability

Teamplay and communication is a must here.

Drawback: poor communication and no prior knowledge on boss will result in total disaster

 

I do hope that the minstrel is only available on boys and dancer for girls

And they have a lot of "sync skills". I hope one of Hose skills allows mage to cast their Magic skills while walking (not running)........

...... catch: minstrel and dancer must not sever the link between each other and their defenses greatly lowered

 

Apostolia for smith on this game would be very important *thinks*

 

many might get disappointed once again coz that minstrel and dancer skills may lean towards a support role given that most of the new released boss uses annoying ailments for DPS. or magical based atks coz magic proration in game rn are non existence

About new weapon it would be weird they just release tier 1-3 instead of 1-4 that main weps do have.So i believe is a buff skill branch for dw.

 

If anyone understands Japanese, they can feel free to watch yesterday’s broadcast and fill us in on what they are supposed to be. I don’t, and if there is someone helpful translating the chat I don’t see it because I turn it off due to all the code leeches.

Ermm whips, handcuff...I dont think thats a dancer class. Look like sadist skill branch (without sex content this is a family friendly game)

 

Minstrel in iruna just casts buffs and some of those buffs deals dmg/second or has effect/second, like remove ailments every/3seconds or heal xx%hp and mp/0.5seconds, the max songs they can maintain is 3 with a song lore 3 obtainable at lvl 320 i think

That's support skill tree but only that support skills are pretty much shit cuz they get removed in one hit.

 

Then try to avoid getting hit. That's the playstyle . That's what made support here fun compared to other class. Every grind is a freestyle playstyle. Need to come up with something, react and improvise movements on the spot.

 

You need a tank otherwise 2/3 of the tree is useless and if Minstrel works like how it did in Iruna, what's the point of taking support skills anymore?
